  1. I use "Sateel". they understand !!!

That seems to work for me also. Talked to a friend and if it is stainless just say 'saatanless' and they will understand. smile.png

My definition of iron above is not quite accurate as it pertains to the element iron.

Also if talking steel sheet the thickness is "min" not millimeter..... 3 min sateel 8 x 4 will get me a 3mm x 2400 x 1200 sheet !!

  2. You'd thin that in order to avoid scenarios like this, ATM will be stuffed with as little as possible

money and just have more ATM's with less money in them, sorry, I forgot that this is Thailand,

where common sense is a rare commodity...

That makes (uncommon) sense. I propose a 1,600 baht (1 ea. 1,000, 500, 100) magazine limit per ATM to absolutely minimize the risk and still provide the service. Now, let's see ... where will place the additional several thousand (hundred thousand?) ATMs to support the nominal transaction volume and at what cost?

Considering the transaction charges (local cards/foreign cards) for using an ATM having several hundred thousand machines that only hold Bt.1600 could be quite lucrative for the banks.

  3. ATM machines really have many million?

May be incident happened too early in the morning and author is little confused

Individual customers can regularly take our 50,000 to 100,000 from a single ATM, providing they do not exceed their daily amount. Ten to twenty of these customers will withdraw a total of one million baht.

An ATM has to be able to service hundreds, if not thousands, of customers before it has to be refilled, so, yes, an ATM has to contain banknotes in the multi millions...!!

Not entirely correct, a normal ATM card allows a daily out-take of 30.K, a special ATM card allows a daily out-take of 50.K.

My normal atm card allows me to withdraw upto Bt100,000 per day (Kasikorn), I suggest you read what others have posted before chiming in with you incorrect replies.

  4. The police probably meant 0,5 (promilles), which is the global standard. The US cops do not know how to count promilles, so they stick to percents, and their figure is then 0,05.

I have been told that the limit in Thailand is 0,8 ‰ but can anyone confirm this? Also, I have been told that the breathalyzers Thai police use are really a big joke and the figures they show are very unreliable.

it is .05%. and are they accurate well thats another topic.

  5. 9,000 kms on my 3.2l Wildtrak so far. No problems whatsoever. Waited 9 months from Pattaya Ford. No lag, fast truck, good mileage. 65 litres for 850 kms on the highway. Very comfortable to drive, good air con, and comes standard with dark tinted windows so no one can see in.

Only thing I would change would be to have an option to buy an independent rear suspension and better shocks all around, the same as the Ford Raptor has. Something that gives a bit more confidence off road and less chatter on highway bumps.

They come standard with clear windows. the tint will be aftermarket.

Suspension packages are available to overcome the OEM stuff short comings.

Like we see in so many civics around here..

Correct, Civics also come from the factory with clear windows. The tint as per your Ranger is also aftermarket.

  7. Oh the irony; Red Bull rich kid kills a cop drunk driving and gets off. Thai cops teen daughter kills a van full of people, and gets a slap on the wrist. Thailand, the hub of justice..............

And what happened to that teenage boy that cut the girl in half with daddy's Porche?

I think the Girl was from Laos so possibly the judge ordered the police to throw remains back over the border and then he put on a round of beers at his local.
