90 day rejected
So after my online application was rejected 3 times (no reason given), I visited Jomtien. As others have noted, the 90-day reporting is in the building on the left, 2-3 people on the reception desk. None is friendly. They looked over my previous slip, noted I was not overdue, and then automatically started to hand me a new TM.47 to fill out anyway. But from reading here, I figured they might. I handed them one I'd already printed out and signed. The next question was, TM.30? I explained I live in my own condo. (Maybe this was behind the rejection; they forgot about that.) But they looked skeptical, so then I handed over a copy of the yellow book AND the copies of the passport, all signed. They took all that, so I assume that's what they wanted, and handed me a number. It may not be clear to you, since numbers are being shown and called out over a speaker at the next desk, that you'll also pick up your passport at this same desk. They will call out your number, if you can hear it. They'll keep your passport there to give you if you come by later. The waiting time was shown as 40 min, but it took an hour. There's free water in a cooler beside the desk. Immigration was overall pretty crowded. I don't look forward to my upcoming extension renewal. Amusing note: above the 90-day desk there's a big framed photo of a long line of expats/tourists stetched out into Soi 5. This reminds you to be thankful for the new buildings, seats, and aircon, though there still aren't enough seats in the main building. And this was the longest time I've ever waited for a 90-day report acceptance.

90 day rejected
After you get right the first time and your application is accepted, then you automatically fill in the same address via the search function.

My blood test shows high Cholesterol – Looking for advice - Drugs / Diet .
Sounds like a good idea. You're overweight; FBS indicates pre-diabetes. Consider a strict low carb diet. Stop being lazy and seriously exercise, put in your daily steps at minimum. You may be able to get your numbers into good ranges naturally.

Swiss Man Who ‘Kicked’ Doctor Loses Visa, 2nd Swiss Man Too Could Do So
The usual laughable imagined victimization. This arrogant SOB's getting at least some of what he deserved already. When does the bribe kick in that our shrewdest members claim will prevent his deportation? Seems a bit late, don't it?

A "HYPO" again
Not really. Big no-nos. Suggest you get the gold standard of glucose tests, the oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) if possible. But you have at least pre-diabetes. Better start dieting like a diabetic. Seriously exercise as well. The Diabetes Code: Prevent and Reverse Type 2 Diabetes Naturally

Local file backup software solution for Windows 11 PC?
Perhaps I'm thinking of scheduling particular backup jobs by name. SyncBack allows you to name and configure jobs and also group them into different groups. I make extensive use that feature w/ nightly, weekly, and monthly backups of different folders--and schedule them per job. But, truth to tell, I've only used the Pro version for years. Maybe Free is better than it used to be. 🙂 One thing I really wanted in Pro was the ability to back up locked files. I'm assuming your scheduling isn't just part of the free trial of Pro (or Home). Common practice. MalwareBytes is always doing that to me; every time they upgrade, it gives me all the paid features for a limited time. If you refuse, it continues to nag from the system tray. Exit, and the nag soon comes back. Now I have a kill MalwareBytes task that runs daily.

Local file backup software solution for Windows 11 PC?
Same here. SyncBack's been around forever and is still very much supported and updated. Has a lot of features. Goodsync mentioned earlier is also good. For quick & dirty, I use FreeFileSync. Free versions of good backup programs don't come with schedulers. The paid versions do. You can use Windows scheduler to open the program but then you'll have to run the backup task manually.

Swiss retiree’s brutal attack on Thai woman sparks outcry in Trang
Then can farang expats learn not to react by striking her multiple times and then fleeing the scene. Witnesses report Natchanan threw a water bottle in retaliation, after which Straumann returned, choking and beating her further, even slamming her head against the floor?

bank was no longer accepting new accts from AMERICANS,
Not sure about this. You won't lose your payment by trying, merely delay it at worst. Had one relevant testimonial above.

Waiting for that. Anyone without a traditional Anglo-Saxon name, even with a French name descending from the Normans, is NOT a Bit. Particularly the criminals.

US Supreme Court rules Colorado cannot ban Trump from presidential ballot
But neither allegation disqualifies Trump in the eyes of law. Making up violations, and illegally attempting to convict without trial, of inapplicable law, as a part of leftist lawfare to disenfranchise voters, hasn't worked either. Guess gon' have to suck it up, as Repubs have had to endure and have been forced to pay for Biden's mess. 🙂

What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2024)
Dune 2, that is. I took your recommendation and am glad I did. Well worth seeing on the big screen owing to the spectacular visuals. Needed ear plugs towards the end. Otherwise, the movie's so-so, some good scenes amid the usual tropes, but it IS Dune. Adds significantly to previous attempts to film it.

How smart are you really?
We're always hearing pretensions to superior Authority on the forum to support unsubstantiated assertions. No, you don't get a pass for writing stupid posts, sorry. Just the other day you were falsely claiming that the minimum price of a coffee in Starbucks is 150-155 baht, based solely on what you usually order. Whoops. We'll continue to demand evidence and logical reason, unless we're just enjoying one of our favorite silly bashes.

UPDATE: Swiss man’s visa revoked
Duh. Contradicts what you said. It didn't blow over. Ullrich was probably richer than this Swiss, too, and very well connected. Threatened the police, offered bribes (some of which may have been taken, who knows), spouted a lot of hot air, and all the usual antics. Deported and blacklisted.

Yeah, we jumped the gun a bit. Greed, I guess.
