OOPS! Seems Kaspersky has done it again.....
Done it again? That's the original claim from 2017 - nothing new there.

Reading the responses on this thread I fail to understand why there are so many sneering comments. Thailand is Thailand, not a facsimile of the US or UK, if folks want life as in the West why on Earth do they bother staying in Thailand? In recent years TV seems plagued with whingers; if you want 'tea like mom makes' for pity's sake just go home!

Balloon "festival"?!?!
It's all relative, Hat Yai's not somewhere in the UK.
It's Thailand, there's more than one balloon, so why not call it a festival.
My granddaughter enjoyed seeing the balloons so job done.

Stay away from Kaspersky AV, the one that comes bundled free with Asus MB's. I tried it on Win 10 and hated it - But then came the fun, trying to uninstall it! It took 3 weeks with daily support from Kaspersky.
There's nothing wrong with the version that comes direct from Kaspersky.

This could be a tough sell as no scanner and no color.
Good small office option, though.
The OP said "I need a good printer" - the Brother HL-1210W is a precisely that.

Kaspersky has a free version, but you can pick up a licence on Ebay for very little cost.

Just personal preference. Having tried both I prefer the Windows option - and you don't need BlueStacks or any other Android emulator, I can access everything I need through Kodi or a browser.

Thanks, I'm back in the UK next week and will be renewing my multi-O before flying back early June. Was very easy by mail last trip, hope it's the same this time round.

Phatthalung
You're only 90km away from Hat Yai, better selection down here I suspect. We've a choice of Avis, Hertz, Sixt, Thrifty, National, plus a few Thai rental companies - most are based out of Hat Yai airport.
I can't imagine you'll find much beyond Thai Rent a Wreck in Patthalung!

So for the folks here who are recommending using Windows PCs as a TV streaming platform, what are you using to control them???
I'm happy using a Rapoo wireless keyboard with touchpad, means I can get the most out of my mini-PC both as TV and PC. I was using an air-mouse before that but prefer the larger format keyboard.

Save all the hassle just buy a Win10 mini-PC.
I gave up on Android boxes and bought a Asus VivoMini - not the cheapest option but cheaper in the long run.

When leaving or arriving thailand i just follow my wife through the thai only part of immagration no problem. When arriving in uk my thai wife follows me through my border control section no problem.
That isn't always possible now that they have E-Gates for Thai passport holders, sometimes there are no manned desks for Thai passports, E-Gate only - in that case you can't follow.

I watch CNN seems normal to me. News casts are becoming more like social media even using comedy shows as news sources daily.
Yes those White House briefings are comedy gold.
As for the original question my initial thought was no, people have more sense, then I had second thoughts.

Some say he was a roman, seems highly unlikely he was english, all seems fantasy to me but dreams make people happier.
Who said he was English!! Try reading a thread from the start rather than plunging in half way through and uninformed.
I said in my first post in response to the OP that St George was a Roman soldier of Turkish origin!

For how much longer do you think you will be able to get away with it?
Getting away with what?
As a geologist I worked FIFO with Thailand as my base, I don't understand what you're supposed to be getting away with. You work outside Thailand, you're not taking away any work from the locals, just bringing money into the country. I worked even rotations so could only ever spend 6 months total in Thailand within the year. In my dealings with immigration they understood this. My circumstances changed when I married a Thai, I still work contracts outside Thailand but now use a marriage based Non-O Multi-Entry.

Has it ever been? I grew up in the 1970s and I don't ever remember celebrating it.

Likewise, I grew up in the UK during 60s/70s, it was never anything I remember celebrating, it was the Irish, Welsh and Scots that did Saint's Days.
It was only skinheads and the National Front who liked to wave the Cross of St George.

St George pre-dates Islam, I believe he was a Roman soldier from what is now Turkey. So an appropriate symbol for multicultural England.
(It's hardly his fault Crusaders stuck his cross on their shields and tabards)

Do you have the license key?
If so you should be able to uninstall KIS and install the global version and then register it to the same key. KIS uninstalls easily, I've recently had to uninstall reinstall when upgrading from Win7 to Win10. The issue with uninstall mentioned above was with a version on ASUS computers. I've had no problems with Dell.
If it won't let you register the key on the global version it's easy to buy a license key cheap on eBay.
