Last time I went through my taxi driver was able to use the booth, I had to go join the queues in the new big immigration 'barn' like building, which was a complete pain and took about 30 minutes. That was on a normal sort of week day, I'd hate to try a holiday weekend!

I bought both my Dell laptops (built to order) through Dell Thailand and the Dell supplier they connected me to:

Many, many people wandering aimlessly trying to work out the process, where to go, what lane, which queues................... What a mess!
I've not been through Sadao since earlier in the year, have they finished the 'redesign', or was the mess in part because it's still under construction?

Thanks , sticking with Android then, much simpler.
I don't find Win 10 as an interface any less simple than Android.
It all works well with the TV, soundbar and a remote keyboard/touchpad. The little PC is tucked away next to the DVD player.

พระนคร (Pra Nakorn) (Phone: 074 800 372) (7.0052415, 100.4846478)
Fairly recent addition to the strip of bars & restaurants along Thumnoonvithi Rd east of the junction with Thanon Sam Sip Met heading towards PSU. It's on the right hand side heading out of town opposite the Vietnamese restaurant in the little parallel soi. It used to be the White Line bar, but that was knocked down and this modern bar & restaurant built in its place. It's a Thai restaurant, all the usual favourites and well priced. There's live music and a young Thai clientele. Food was very good, meal for two with plenty of beer was under Bht2,000.
Note that Gap's Garten, the German restaurant & bar has now closed - pity, will miss the spätzle.

Isn't this just like running a PC
Yes, just a mini PC that's not much larger than an Android box.

Why would he die of boredom just because he changed his diet to exclude meat and dairy and instead substituted more healthy foods that would likely cause him to live a longer more healthy life? I have vegan friends who are healthier than guys 10-20 years younger than they are and they don't need drugs to control blood pressure, diabetes and many other conditions associated with eating a less healthy diet. I've other friends who through the their eating habits either can hardly get around or are pretty much bedridden / at least rely on a wheelchair to get them to the toilet. If there's any chance I can hold off that problem for another 5 years then I'll opt for the more healthy options.
Veganism is clearly detrimental to one's sense of humour.

You may want to consider a windows based box. I use a intel NUC which runs windows 10 has an i7 processor and 16mb of ram. It’s overkill for Kodi but I never have to worry about updating hardware and software is automatically updated.
There are plenty of windows based boxes on the market but they are more pricey with the cheapest ones starting around 6k I think. I’d get as much ram as you can if possible

I gave up on Android boxes recently and also opted for a Windows box, I looked at the Intel NUC but opted for an Asus Vivomini VM45 instead. Very happy with it.

I am guarding against stroke, heart disease, cancer, diabetes and many other diseases by eating a "plant-based diet". I eat no meat, no dairy and no eggs. NOTHING from animal protein which has been shown to cause the majority of chronic disease. The research is rock solid. Google "plant based eating".
We're omnivores not herbivores. Everything in moderation.
We all die of something, you seem set on dying of boredom.

The recent study I think you are alluding to is the Monash University of Melbourne study that found no overall benefit for those over 70. However, daily low dose aspirin is still shown to be of benefit to adults aged 50 to 70 in reducing stroke risk, though it should be remembered there are dangers in taking aspirin, it can cause internal bleeding.
The one I take I buy at my local pharmacy, labelled 'Aspent-M 81mg' comes in containers of 60 tablets, costs Bht50.

You could always take the ferry from Penang to Langkawi and then the ferry from Langkawi to Trang. I have no idea of the timetable or the cost, I just know that those are ferry routes.
-
I doubt you'll be able to book a bus from Penang to Trang. You'll most likely need to go Penang to Hat Yai and then find a bus to Trang.

is "butt-puckering" time as you watch and hope Windows successfully gets thru the restart process.
By comparison the 6 monthly update cycles on Linux Mint don't elicit the same sense of trepidation, they also don't take half a day to download, install, update and restart.
-
I updated overnight, all went OK.
Thankfully I only have one box running Win 10, these 'Feature' updates are no small undertaking, I invariably hesitate when it's time to restart.

Thanks for correcting me.
I guess they all run much the same dates, Hat Yai is 9th-17th October this year.

The License Key you buy and the software package you download from Microsoft are two separate items. The license is just a string of numbers and letters that the software installation from Microsoft will either accept as legitimate or reject; it can't install any virus, malware or trojan, it's just a license key.

I don't think Chumphon has a particularly large Thai-Chinese community so doubt it has a vegetarian festival. We have one down here in Hat Yai, but then we have a large Thai-Chinese population.

What I said in my post about policy conditions that you are replying to was 100% accurate, exactly.
As maybe, but my original post was in the context of this particular story, where there is a degree of doubt as to the link between earlier skin cancer and the the present brain tumour. I'm sure the lawyers would enjoy it. Though the point is moot as the lad had no medical insurance anyway.

If an insurer had to use that clause in a policy it would only be because the insured was trying to claim for something that he was not covered for, in other words he was trying to get something that he was not entitled to and he had not paid the premium for.
Not exactly, the quote from the article said "and doctors think", so clearly there is a level of uncertainty as to whether his brain tumour has a link to his previous skin cancer.

Likewise, I have a C120 Air Mouse (with keyboard on the reverse), but generally prefer to use my Rapoo K2600 wireless keyboard.
