Does the browser (and therefore iPlayer) have permission to see your phone location? I can get the iPlayer to work using Brave and NordVPN on my Android - I just checked.

....start with a big one.

Yep. I did exactly that last week. Renewed my passport whilst in the UK arriving back I gave my new passport to the IO together with my old one open at the extension and re-entry permit. No problem at all. Went to immigration in Hat Yai today to have the extension and re-entry permit transferred to the new passport.

What do you think is the biggest threat to humanity/civilization?
Stocky replied to jvs's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Humanity. -
Hardly, Poland didn't occupy Germany, stealing the fertile land and condemn the Germans to the South African equivalent of Bantustans. Ditto Ukraine was occupied by Russia not the other way round. .

or "There are no pockets in shrouds" as my mother would say. Great source of wisdom my mother, there are several pieces of advice I try to stick to. "Never a lender nor a borrow be" "Never spend money you don't have" "One enemy is one too many, one more friend is still one too few" "Don't put off 'til tomorrow what you can do today" "Everything has its place, and everything in its place"

Pol Gen Torsak to become Thailand’s next top cop
Stocky replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Handily sullied by a recent search of his home. -
Whine, whine, whine. Forget your issues with Martinez, that can't cover the fact your bunch of over priced prima donnas just can't get the ball in the net, but Villa could. UTV. .

Last year the monsoon started early October then stopped, didn't get going again until November and then carried on into January rather than ending around New Year. Weather this year in Hat Yai has been all over the place, so suspect the monsoon season this year will be similarly unpredictable.

Thailand’s e-cigarette ban draws ‘smokin’ support from concerned parents

Would you care to substantiate this? 95% is rather a certain number in as yet very uncertain field of study. -

From the restaurants response to the YouTubers they should have been charged Bht380 as follows 3 large thigh pieces @ Bht80 = Bht240, 3 drumsticks @ Bht35 = Bht100, 2 boxes of rice @ Bht 20 per box = Bht40 - total Bht380. But they charged for 6 large thigh pieces Bht480 plus Bht40 for the rice. https://www.msn.com/th-th/news/other/แพงไปมั้ย-ยูทูบเบอร์ดัง-ซื้อไก่ทอด-6-ชิ้น-520-บาท/ar-AA1gx7Lq

Emergency decree against insurgency extended in Deep South
Stocky replied to snoop1130's topic in Southern Thailand News
This is hardly news, they've extended the state of emergency every quarter since 2005. If they rescinded the state of emergency in the south then that would indeed be newsworthy. No it doesn't, an insurgency is just an armed rebellion by a smaller force against a much larger one, usually conducted as guerrilla warfare, doesn't imply funding from abroad. -
Problems with Sound and Vibration on Samsung Smartphone.
Stocky replied to NoshowJones's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Likewise and currently have a Galaxy A53 5G which behaves itself perfectly. Neither do I, but you can get it to automate stuff things like switch to vibrate at certain times or in certain circumstances. Not all of the Samsung range have Bixby, mine does but I don't use it. . -
Problems with Sound and Vibration on Samsung Smartphone.
Stocky replied to NoshowJones's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Which Samsung model is this? The suggestion to check your do not disturb settings is a good one, the only other way to change sound/vibrate/silent settings automatically that I can think of is via a Bixby routine. -
Thailand just chose a prime minister. He’s not the one people voted for
Stocky replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Actually he was elected, just not the leader of the party with the biggest share of the vote.
