  1. not so I am saying. just shared my point of view from experience. never what anybody should do. not my biz.
  2. Things are getting nasty. Nasralla was like a father for Lebanon just like Homenei is for other country. IDF at the point of no return - either eliminate them all or
  3. Good idea. But it is not a club to join. Even out of the kindness of rabbi they will just "tolerate" you. Hebrew and Yiddish? nobody speaks Yiddish AFAIK. its a lingvo of Eastern European jews, some ugly mix between german, polish and hebrew. don't think about it. However there're some loopholes to become a part of them. In Brooklyn it was about $XX,000. Ivanka Trump used that, why not you (if you're desperate)? And yes, hebrew is the must! I reckon very nice and sweet, yet quite old French jew who couldn't read Torah and speak hebrew. He tried so hard to blend it yet...
  4. @Polar Bear Thanks! I have to bookmark your very comprehensive reply. May I ask about feline? I will have to bring our family cat and heard many stories about quarantine, flight in cold storage of the airplane and many others. Yet last time from Hamburg I set near nice lady with Yorkie under her seat and no problems at all! Is there something about the size and weight? Our cat has all vaxxes done and nice passport but ...
  5. Friend of mine stays at Yannawa in lesser than shoebox. something 25sqm. Monthly bil rarely exceeds 6+K. One of those private apartments of late 80s. 3 fans - ceiling "helicopter", wall mounted fan and the one that blows air into his computers rack. He could easily afford 15K condo at one of those Life condos, but he refused it as a "waste of money". He has a few Youtube channels and does consultancy job for foreigners. Always busy and does well. I think he lives like that for last 20+ years.
  6. yes, good question @martyn1 That was my thought too. As long as my money is in Thai economy ... @ CW I got negative reply - no investment / trading etc. Plain vanilla deposit. Ok. I went to Bangkok Bank HQ @ Silom. The Big Kahuna manager said "yes, please buy Bangkok Bank mutual fund bonds" it will work just as good as deposit. (not a dumb teller, real manager). So 2020 I "bought" 6 months something for 100K. I got passbook which was good and was accepted (at CW at non-formal request) and in 6 months I saw I made (mutual fund made for me, how sweet!) 1.700 thb on the updated passbook. So I guess it was not wise at all.
  7. FYI: there are no stray dogs near the Embassy of Korea. Seriously.
  8. I've been there 2023. Made it very formal: appointment with Consular and visit. If you popup from nowhere you'll probably deal with khun Supee. Don't do it. the German Consular is very helpful. after all they did it for 40+ years so they know everything. Avoid khun Supee!
  9. German Embassy in Bangkok is the most helpful. You need no agents - they are very supportive just make an appointment and they will guide you. Seriously very kind folks there.
  10. Done the same. Just keep your contacts updated with Rev.Dept. And this is free
  11. Sounds like a good topic for a new post/thread. "National campaign to teach the people how to handle: dogs cats children with cell phones unhealthy diet for kids "thou shall not fail at exam" dogma "but she has a family to support" excuse absence of basic hygiene at any diner/street vendor/food court uncontrolled disposal of hardcore antibiotics at pharmacies and that just first things came to mind. ^^^ these are the results of being 3rd world country. Not backward. More to add. PS: at microbiology class professor asked college grads "what is isomer?". Master's program. Poker faces.
  12. sure and after " the dogs removal operation" Thailand will become prosperous and truly well developed country.. generally speaking TH is the third world country and that is one of the reason why nobody cares about stray and feral mutts.
  13. there was another bastard with Fat Vicky in UA during that coup. forgot his nom.
  14. Depends on what home? She's an Asian immigrant w/Polish passport. Is it her native home at Da Nang or new home at Gdansk (Danzig)?
  15. Yes, very likely. Lost in translation, obviously. Asian but Polish woman said something in %what language% so vietnamese flight attendant took as the threat. Later when semi-sober Ambassador arrived he translated what did she mean "in fact really" Embarrassing indeed! PS: Polish citizenship is about 10K Euro through that UA hole.
  16. We thought the war has to be "declared" and later "signed" something. But our 'Merican friends proved something new: any country / block can invade any country, slaughter locals and leave w/o explanation whenever it fancies. wtf is IS doing in Libya? Since when political party being announced as "terrorism org."? So coming back to the subject. Yes those are at war. Deal with it.
  17. I enjoyed the show. Very sincere and professional.
  18. Her maiden surname is Duda. [The answer was lying on the surface]
  19. it is hard not to get depressed in Finland for Thai female. unlike Germany or even NL, Finland is just one boring place to hard working (wink-wink) Thai female.
  20. Massive degradation is happening right in front of our eyes. Massive.
  21. Perfect alibi. likely somebody got chopped during her "long swim". Love it.
  22. Urgently selling studio in Haifa. Anybody interesting?
