TM30 28 and a house master responsibility
macahoom replied to LivinLOS's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
My reply almost certainly will not help you but I might as well mention this: All this TM30/28 nonsense really annoys me so much that when I have read up on it, it goes in one ear and out the other. So I know little about it. Several years ago, Phuket immigration made me go through a TM30/28 rigmarole because I live with my girlfriend, in her house. We even had to submit a rental contract to them! Farcical! We did it once and have never done anything about it since. -
I would suggest you tell yourself to never let that happen again 'cause it was pretty stupid. Edited just now by macahoom

You say, "unless I was running low on charge in Kamphaeng Phet province, where the last time I looked, there were only 6 charging points around the city". How many do you need?

Further to my post last night: If you Google Phuket Wallpaper you will get lots of places that sell and install wallpaper. The place we used for wallpapering is called Orawan Curtain. At the big Sam Kong junction, the shop is diagonally across from Tesco (Lotus's).

Hello! I have have had two houses and a condo wallpapered in Phuket. I looked at wallpaper in several shops - they definitely exist and are not hard to find. I will need to come back to you tomorrow with names and addresses as my girlfriend has that info and is asleep at the moment. In my experience, there has been no problem with mould. With regard to it being done professionally: The guys that did it (different teams over the years) did a great job. There was only one problem: With very light coloured paper, the adhesive along some of the seams turned yellowish (oxidisation, I assume) after several years.

Maybe only one from EA in Phuket. But there are many others: Central has two, Porto de Phuket has three, all of the MG dealerships have at least one and lots of hotels have charging stations. You only need one to charge your car.

Nearly 34,000 Vehicles Sold at 43rd Bangkok Motor Show
macahoom replied to webfact's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Why were they selling televisions at the motor show? -
Here are figures for a trip I did in my MGZSEV in Thailand; nearly all rural, winding roads; hilly in places. Aircon on permanently. Eco mode. I toggle between the three KERS settings. Distance travelled: 351.1 kms. Average speed: 59kph. Driving time: 5 hrs 57 mins. 11.6kWh per 100kms. With my 44.5kWh battery, and if my calculations are correct, that works out at a range of 383kms for a 100% charge. I'm very happy with these numbers. I believe they are better than MG claim.
-
I don't believe! I wonder if you charge, when out and about, using one of the many fast and rapid chargers that are all over the country (that were not supplied or installed by MG), does that invalidate the warranty too?
-
I can tell you that driving around Phuket, a 100% charge gives me about 320 kms. I believe the latest ZS has a bigger battery than I have.
-
Have you asked MG if they'll give you the box without them insisting they install it? My other EV car dealership gave me a box without installation, so I'd be surprised if MG don't..
-
If you don't need to charge quickly, granny charging (just plugging into a regular, domestic outlet), works perfectly well. The MG ZSEV is a wonderful car, by the way. Had mine for two and a half years.
-
You can buy and install your own wallbox. You don't have to use MG. Lazada and Shopee etc. have lots of wallboxes for sale.
-
Yeh, I have a dedicated circuit for my 7.4kW wall box. Breakers at both the distribution board and the wall box. Thick cable! I can also plug directly into a normal domestic outlet and charge at about 2.2kW.
-
What special requirement is needed for fast charging at home? I have a fast charger and three phase is not needed. Installation. by an electrician sent by MG, was relatively simple and neat.
-
Simple answer: There are no special requirements for plugging in at home, like 3 phase power.
-
Hello. Can you please give me a link to where I can find these figures?

MOPH Confirms No Legal Obligations For People To Wear Face Masks

You're mistaken. You did not sit a "GCE 'O' level in English Grammar" exam, as no such exam existed. You may have sat a GCE 'O' Level in English Language or English Literature exam. -
The ZS EV has blind spot monitoring. Don't know about the ICE models. You could try Googling.
