  1. Yes! What's the deal with this? Drives me nuts. I’m glad someone agrees with me! I can understand your and you’re, there, their and they’re, and even should of instead of should have. But then and than? They are two unconnected words with completely different meanings and it seems to be only Americans who can’t differentiate between them. All I can think is that, possibly, a lot of Americans pronounce the two words the same and this causes confusion, whereas, in the UK, they are pronounced quite differently.
  2. Being unable to differentiate between the words then and than.
  3. Sorry, I mistook the link for one of your many, similar looking advertisements. Silly me!
  4. Sorry for any confusion, but we've been discussing EV Station PluZ which is the station featured in Bjørn's video a few posts earlier. It stops charging 10 minutes before the hour.
  5. You're almost right! It's actually 10 minutes before the booking slot. I know Bjørn says 5 minutes in the video, but I'm pretty sure he's wrong.
  6. This is his report on EV Station PluZ. We've used these stations several times. Admittedly, the first time we used one, it was a little confusing. But now we understand it and have the hang of it, it's quite simple and works well.
  7. I've got a different thoughts on this. I bought an MG ZS EV in 2019. I cannot imagine how it would have been wiser for me to have bought an ICE MG ZS in 2019 and then replaced it with a ZS EV in 2022, as you have done. With regard to the range: yes, my older model has the smaller battery but I'm easily getting 320 kms on a 100% charge - like you, beating MG's advertised/official figures. I don't need more than that. What's "IP69 vs 67"? What's "fixing a moisture issue"?
  8. I don't know for certain, but they probably couldn't easily fly with it. I know for a fact that they were leaving Thailand by plane, so that's likely to be the reason. You'd be amazed at the stuff some people leave behind.
  9. Thank you for taking the time to explain so that a numpty like me can understand. Appreciated!
  10. The tenants who recently vacated my condo left this behind (see attached photo). Can anyone tell me, in non-technical language, what it is, please?
  11. Granny charging draws about the same power as an electric iron - about 2.2kW. There really shouldn't be a problem. As an experiment, I recently plugged my granny charger into a normal outlet in my girlfriend's parents' modest, rural house in Nakhon Si Thammarat for about 3 hours. Worked perfectly. Nothing tripped or heated up.
  12. Far out, man! Sri Racha is where it’s at! Make sure you have plenty of bread with you; you may meet some other groovy chicks on your trip. And remember: make love, not war.
  13. I'm confused. You wrote: "Chinese cars are still poor quality today." I asked you: "How do you know that?" And that's your answer above - there appears to be more complaints for Tesla compared to the Chinese make, BYD. Sorry if I'm missing something.
  14. You asked if Tesla had made any announcements. I answered you. Calm down!
  15. Scroll to Thailand, then click on English. https://www.tesla.com/th_th/host-a-supercharger
  16. Good lord! Please stop! It's so, so boring.
  17. I continue to be astounded by the number of people who feel the need to post comments in Thailand EV threads when they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.
  18. Ha! What a load of old codswallop, made-up nonsense. I have charged at countless DC chargers in Thailand. I have only once had to wait (for 10 minutes) for someone else to finish charging. I have never seen a queue. And as for "fighting at the charger": You're a funny guy! P.S. There are plenty of stations with two separate chargers.
  19. What's this, please? Edit: I just worked it out but it would be helpful if you typed all the letters. It's with passengers.
