Thanks Tiger. That is why I am asking about import taxes etc. If you say is true, then I will buy locally. I am based in Phuket and the gym equipment on sale is not so good and expensive etc.

Where in Thailand would I be able to find a good shop that would sell descent gym equipment?

    I'm thinking Bangkok.

There are some good quality / price options here. I bought online from this company Maxxfit 3 years ago, when the local gyms all closed due to C-19. All the equipment I bought (Half-cage, bench, 20kg barbell, plates, dumbells etc,) still in perfect condition.

Isn't Rayong,or Rain-on as someone once said, known as the wettest place in Thailand .

I am in Lopburi province, so far this month we have had 21 mm of rain, now corn crops are dying due to lack of rain, and some rice crops are looking a bit dry, but most are not even planted yet, no rain, things running well late this year.

Not sure, tbh. Rayong's 'monsoon season' normally starts late, around September-October. Its a coastal province also, with mountains and a run-off into the sea, so flooding is not (normally) an issue here.

    I guess it's

because they're popular and sell out quickly. Retail shops here don't appear to have cottoned on to the concept of doubling up orders for their bigger sellers.... they just seem to order the same amount of everything and wait for all the products in a range to get low on stock before reordering.

    Maybe shelf-life is an issue?

Twix has been on the missing list for ages. Found some Bounty bars the other day though.

There is an "expat" shop near to us that sells a full caboodle of (UK) choccy delights; Penguin, Club biscuits, Fry's, Bournville, etc.    Difficult to resist..

I agree.  Can't find cottage cheese anywhere.  I should buy some raw milk locally and make my own 'curdle and whey.'

There is a local Thai brand, "Yolida" that makes cottage cheese "Alli" range. The Mom & Pop shop near to us (Banchang) sells it as well as their main product, pro-biotic natural yoghurt (450gms for 65 Baht).

    Yolida

The normal milk supply here doesn't seem affected, so far. Maybe Pattaya is just feeling it first due to the large expat consumption.
