Agree totally, I'm a dog owner but my dog stays inside our property and when I do take her out it's on a leash. Plus when she does her business outside our property I pick it up, I don't leave it in the street--like a lot of owners. People need to realize not everyone likes animals, especially when they're on someone elses property.

Yep, dogs are akin to children and farts. You can only stand your own.

Makes it very easy to setup people in a horrible way aside of the fact that a real junkie would always need 2 or more, unless dealers are always available and nearby.

Exactly. Anutin throwing a bone to the BIB to write their own checks for this BS law.

Where is the political will to go after the big producers and money launderers? ???? Oh, wait!

And how were they suppose to know who her former husband was?  When the body was first identified as being from South East Asia they made appeals to embassies, but nothing came up.

They didn't know until the family came forward in 2019 to say their daughter was missing and they did DNA tests. Then they contacted the husband.

It is really easy to look this case up and see the timeline of the investigation

I was presuming she was in the UK on a visa sponsored by her husband. The same guy that fathered her two kids.

  4. From the BBC article:

A post-mortem carried out after she was found on 20 September 2004 failed to establish how she died.

There was no sign of violence and hypothermia was ruled out, but detectives could not answer two main questions; who she was or how she met her death.

Local people paid for her burial in the churchyard in Horton-in-Ribblesdale and she became known as The Lady of the Hills.

A cold case review was started in 2016 and scientific advances meant police were able to piece together a more detailed picture of who she was and came to the conclusion she had been killed.

Twelve year gap between the original post mortem, and "scientific advances" seems quite a long time.

Then another seven year gap for the UK cops to want to speak to her former husband.?

  5. The Monty Python team reformed to do a tour a few years ago, basically to support Cleese, who'd just lost the rest of his money to another gold-digger. (He really seems attracted to them ????).

He must be either senile or skint (possibly a combination of) to want to pish on the legend of Fawlty Towers, by re-making it. Hopefully, not for the box-ticking robots at the BBC, anyway.

Has anyone eaten at the Kantary in Banchang?

Just had a flyer in the letterbox (well, it's nice to get anything in the letterbox these days) - Special Valentine's Day set menu dinner at their rooftop restaurant.

Several courses, not including booze except for "Sparkling Wine". I guess a commanding view of the Banchang Hospital, and romantic background noise from the traffic on Sukhumvit.

At 1200Baht per head plus (in the small print) 10% service charge plus VAT I'm not especially tempted.

Been there once. It had only recently opened, and they did do us a favour with the "quarantine" thing that only got rescinded here last year. (Last May. -They were an approved 'quarantine' hotel).

Food was okay, but the service was poor, tbh. Hopefully, they may have sorted that out by now.

If it's a "rooftop" setting, I'd rather to to the "Kameo" hotel in Rayong. The "California Steak" restaurant there is pretty good. Food, service, and price-wise.

Whilst the sale of these items seems quite open in Thai street stalls, some shops and markets, tourists may get a false sense of security about the lack of enforcement of the country’s vaping laws.

Yep, so easily available yet erm, illegal..

Another manufactured "grey area" for the clowns in brown to create revenue streams.
