Thailand no doubt a signatory nation to the WHO's global "Pandemic Response Treaty".
Meaning they can overrule sovereign nations in imposing lockdowns, digital ID's, etc., in response to any new "pandemic" they deem serious enough to do this:
QuoteThrough these amendments, the WHO, with the support of the U.S., appears to be responding to roadblocks that China erected in the early days of covid. This is a legitimate concern. But the net effect of the proposed amendments is a shift of power away from sovereign states, ours included, to unelected bureaucrats at the WHO. The thrust of every one of the changes is toward increased powers and centralized powers delegated to the WHO and away from member states.
Leslyn Lewis, a member of the Canadian parliament and lawyer with international experience, has warned that the treaty would also allow the WHO unilaterally to determine what constitutes a pandemic and declare when a pandemic is occurring. “We would end up with a one-size-fits-all approach for the entire world,” she cautioned. Under the proposed WHO plan, pandemics need not be limited to infectious diseases and could include, for example, a declared obesity crisis.

One Baht equals 15.244 g. Standard purity of Thai gold is 96.5%. Now that is different than 99.9% Thai gold. The actual gold content of one Baht by weight is 15.224 X 0.95965 so that equals 14.71046 g. In terms of troy ounces, that would come out to 0.473 troy ounces. The other thing to keep in mind is 15.244 g is used for bullion. For jewelry it is more like 15.16 g when you are talking about Baht weight gold.

Very serious indeed. As bad as killing a swan, a 12th century misdemeanor that persists to the present day.
Even if it breaks your arm?

Lots of murder detectives have issues. Imagine the creeps they have to track down.
My mate's dad was a senior CID Inspector in the UK. Must have seen a lot of nasty stuff, but said the most disturbing thing for him was having to think like a psychopath in order to catch them.

Only once in 30 years. A drunk kid in a local 7/11 late one night took a shine to me for some reason. Two of the girls working there ended up beating the snot out of him. ???? Result.

QuoteHe said that the SAT had been in touch with FIFA to discount the rights money as Thailand very much wanted to broadcast the games.
A bung under the table to Blatter and co should do it.

Well Thaksin would know all about corruption. He fled the country to evade justice after conviction on corruption charges.
He messed up big time with the rice-pledging scheme. But let's remember he was the first democratically elected prime minister of Thailand to serve a full term and was re-elected in 2005 by an overwhelming majority.
He was good for business and the economy, whatever his foibles.
I doubt the massive scale of corruption of the present (and unelected) junta "government" of this country will ever come to light. They are holding a gun to the head of the media, and silencing dissent by any means necessary.

I enjoy visiting the UK at least once per year. Wouldn't want to live there full time though. House prices (and rents) are crazy there now, unless you just rocked up on a beach in a dinghy. ????
I live in what I think is a nice part of Thailand. I can go anywhere else I want to in-country, for a very cheap price. Still work here, and mostly enjoying it especially as retirement is on the horizon. No complaints really.

It's just another 'divide and rule' tactic employed by our "elites" to further atomize society.
The technology and methods used have obviously improved a lot since Roman times, but its still the same tactic.

Nobody mentioned the work "Triad" here yet?
The BP version of this story yesterday states that the heads of the 5 major Chinese Triad gangs have only just been declared persona non grata here. Wonder how long they've been operating beforehand.?

We know more now than at any time in human history yet: ( assume everything listed is my opinion )
children are consumed by social media and fads
humans are more unhealthy ( rampant obesity )
sport is more observed than participated in
wars continue unabated- the UN is useless
greed is the primary motivation
overpopulation is destroying the environment
bad drugs are causing havoc ( alcohol, tobacco, cocaine etc )
the forces of law and order are losing the battle
education for many is a bad joke
bad manners are endemic
crime is out of control.
killing unborn children is seen as a right and no longer as a last resort for unviable foetuses, maternal health, rape and incest.
children are raised by strangers more than by a parent.
Things that used to be affordable for most are no longer:
accomodation- when people have to live in cars, society is shameful
health care
dentistry
That is the vision of chaos and decay broadcasted 24/7 by our beloved mainstream media, anyway.
It's calculated to create anxiety and despair among the general population. "Ordo Ab Chao" or 'order from chaos' is how we are divided and ruled using this technique. Create the problem, then the solution.

decided not to renew the license of the Child Protection Foundation, after its secretary-general was charged with assault and illegal use of child labour.
Hate to sound cynical, but maybe those charges are the reason this "foundation" was started in the first place?

Pitbulls bred for prey drive and aggression. Its ok discuss ‘breeding’ and ‘purpose’ when discussing other breeds, so why is it not OK to discuss breeding with Pitbulls ???
Does the Pit Bull community think their breed should be treated like every other large breed when the breed is not the same ?
Just like a Jack Russel is not a spaniel and is more likely to bite, a Pitbull is not like a golden retriever, its more like a Jack Russel on steroids
Yes, agree. Pitbulls are indeed marketed here in Thailand (on FB and other outlets) on their strength and aggression, to a certain 'proxy-toughguy' mentality buyer base.
