I have an LS2 Demon.
Pretty happy about it. Certainly not as hot as my previous helmet, that one was cooking my brain in comparison.
A little more wind noise, but the Working Wicking balaclava cancelled that out.
It is DOT tested, but not TIS.

Did somebody ask for a cool Cafe Racer? Well, here it is...
That is not a cafe racer.
-
It comes stock with ABS.

Have you guys seen the picture of the dash?
It is all digital, oh no, the horror (end sarcasm)

a little birdie told me it will be 340,000 baht.

You are funny.
If I had to open a thread for every time I was "almost" killed in traffic, I would be banned for spamming.

If you add a slip-on, you don't need to change anything in the ECU.
-
That is just porn, love it.

I don't see the problem, I am in BKK traffic every day and I haven't had any issues with it.
And if you live in BKK, then Big Wing is not too far away, is it now?
You haven't had any issues with your bike or my bike?
I can walk to my regular Honda dealer but cannot walk to Big wing as that is up by Lad Prao/ Ramintra. I can go into my local Honda dealer , grab any parts book, thumb through it until I find what I am looking for, like I did today, for an SH150 "drive face" but don't know if Big Wing will afford me the same courtesy?
I haven't had any issues with my bike, which is a CB500F.
Why would you want to walk to Big Wing if you have a bike?

Are you less of a biker if you ride a Chinese bike??
Can you be considered a biker if you do 1000 km a year?
-
1000 km in a year?
Why don't you get a bicycle?
-
Got me some Pirelli Angels today after 13,000 km on the Dunlops.
Immediately felt the difference, especially in the turns, sooooooo much more grip.

I suggest you wait until the end of November, some new bikes will be introduced at the motor show.

Superleggera!. What a ridiculous name!
What next, the Ducati Fabio?
The Ducati Berlusconi?
The Ducati Masturbarsi?
The Ducati Fottuto?
The Ducati Posatore?
Yes, I'm having fun with an Eng-Italian translation website.
It just means super light.

Sorry for expressing an opinion on a discussion forum. To my eye, Kawas and Dukes are fugly and Kawas unrefined compared with other brands.
Does one have to be a sheep to post on here?
No surprise there - your profile pic says it all. Well not everybody can have a sense of aesthetics - not your fault I guess.
Just out of curiosity I ran the search term 'ugliest motorcycles' on google and clicked on the first link. Here is what I got:
http://eatsleepride.com/c/15768/Top_Tens__Ugliest_motorcycles_of_all_time
Hmmm 3 Hondas in that list but only 1 Ducati and no Kawasakis
Other freakishly fungly Honda bikes that come to mind are the CX500, DN, PC800 The list goes on and on...
And here is the next monstrosity Honda has planned for 2014: http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/624/15484/Motorcycle-Article/Honda-Reveals-CTX700-Models-for-2014.aspx (don't forget reading the comments near the bottom).
I agree - that CTX700 is fugly. Obviously designed for the US market.
Available in Thailand for 375,000 baht (price of the naked model)

Something to think about. Love these bikes and tried in vain to get a legal one. Fed up waiting bought one. Within 3 hours was stopped, police wanted to confiscate. Intervention by friend got me a 500 baht fine and 10 bottles of M150. Sold the bike a few weeks later without using it again. I interesting to know how anyone gets away with using these fantastic bikes
Sent from my ST27a using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
Don't ride it in the daytime at checkpoint hours ;-)

Do they sell the GT1000 there?
-
Where? Some more background information would be nice.
Well, it says KrangKraCharn in the title, so I would try my luck there.
-
I am glad the 500 series has these chipped keys. Only two keys work on my bike, and both are in a safe place.
-
Get a CB500F or X.

That really bites! I hope you get the pricks. At least Pattaya will yank you over if the plates are removed....... But if they are Thai's they don't seem to have to ever have plated bikes & everyone has a cousin in the force to get them to look the other way. A little late for this bike but if you do get it back you can get a GPS chip & put it in the frame that will track the bike for over a year or till the battery gets to weak to send out the beacon.
Sorry for the OT, but where can one get such a GPS chip, sounds mighty interesting actually.

It's funny seeing people think that the cheap Honda 500 twins are actual big bikes worthy of respect. Probably even bought on finance for 40,000 baht down. Anyone can buy one for peanuts. Unless a beginner or a female I wouldn't recommend doing so though.
That is quite an assumption to make, I for one paid my bike in cash, green book in my name from day one.
The only way to do it imo.
It's funny hearing of TEFLers talking about owning a 'proper' 'big' bike that the local somtam seller could buy.
And there you go with your assumptions again.
I am not a TEFLer.
You talk like you know me, but you just know diddly squat (had to write this silly word, because the words I had in mind would ban me for sure)

Can anyone report on these bikes?
in Motorcycles in Thailand

And again, you are wrong. There are still tons of parts available for these bikes.
It is called NOS, new old stock. And many parts of these bikes have also been used in other models, no problems finding stock.
Enough online shops in Thailand and Ebay stocking everything you might need.
I know this, because I own a classic bike too and I know where to get parts, fortunately most of these Thai classic bike guys speak some decent English.
