I am not in Chiang Mai, but for a 5 year license my local DLT for Pattaya requires a long stay visa (90 day) such as Non-O Or B, Or ED etc. or being on a long term extension of stay. This is supposedly nationwide not just Chonburi. Of course YMMV. You may not be able to get a 5 year license, just a 2 year. You might consider contacting an agent that might be able to circumvent the rules.

I don't really want to know what you do in the shower. Like I said. You are one sick freak.

I wouldn't want to ever step foot in a shower that you have used if you think crapping in one is normal behavior. You are one sick freak.

Fixed it for you Almost all the casualties in Gaza in recent days have been linked to Hamas and Iran rather than Israeli strikes. And posting a fake link doesn't say much for your credibility.

Almost can't stand all that Trump winning on his B Day.

What are you on about? Did you miss the part about providing people to pose as unpaid protesters. Providing movie extras is just one category of what they do. Do you think they are stupid enough to say they will provide rioters that will light fires, loot and attack police? They just provide bodies and the protest supervisors then try to get them agitated enough to start committing crimes. -

Your response was just AI rubbish and had no actual facts. For instance it didn't mention any of the companies that actually provide crowds for a fee. Here's one example: Crowds on Demand is an American publicity firm that provides clients with hired actors to pose as fans, paparazzi, security guards, unpaid protesters and professional paid protesters.[1][2][3] The company operates in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas,[4] New York City,[1] Washington, D.C.,[5] Iowa, and New Hampshire.[6] The firm was founded in October 2012 by Adam Swart.[4] -
At Pattaya DLT there used to be a form long ago. Now they just take your package of docs and enter the information into the computer, and once they take a digital photo they print out your license.

You must not be aware that the military parade was only in one location. It is stupid to compare it to protests that were held in multiple locations. It is also stupid to compare an event that does not pay for attendance to the protests that have paid performance artists in attendance.- 152 replies

It looks like the latest information indicates another murder attempt by the lefties.

Good info. A couple of additional points: Your Thai license must be a 5 year license. Not all DLT offices issue the IDP. The one that serves the Pattaya area does not. Canada only ratified the 1949 Treaty UAE ratified both the 1949 and 1968 treaties.

Last week condo tax, now land tax?
Smokin Joe replied to inf's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
I just received my second notice, The green one. This was the actual bill and I paid it with my Bank App by scanning the QR code. I had previously received a the initial notice, not sure if it was blue or not. My condo office is familiar with these and told me the first one was just notice that the bill would be coming soon. I think you may have gone to City Hall before you received that actual bill and they just let you pay early. Same thing last year. An advance notice and the later received the bill. -

Yes. You fill out the IRS Form W-7 and submit it with the next tax return you file. Assuming you intend to file a joint return. Biggest headache is the requirement to provide her ID. Best way to do that is take her passport to the US Embassy to get a certified copy made. https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-w-7
