  1. Cheapish 1 or 2k Circular saw and a straight edge + clamps for the long rips. Miter box ok for the crosscuts but also easy to use the circular saw with a roofers speed square as a guide. Get all at Mr DIY.
  2. Was going to say similar. If 7.5k is to much to support your own flesh and blood then should have wore a condom.
  3. I think your ex is letting you off fairly lightly to be honest. Your only giving her 250 baht a day - which as you say would just about cover the items above. 250 baht doesn't get much in 7-11 now. That means she is covering all his living expenses - accomodation/rent, electric/water, clothing, toys, healthcare, transport. I'm sure they don't sit at home all weekend so she's taking him to the malls or parks. Something like harborland playground is 4-500 baht for a couple of hours - follow that with a visit to McDonalds maybe and another few hundred baht. My daughter is 9 now but when she was 5 or 6 she would often get sick - fever or bronchitis etc. Trip to the clinic easily costs 1000 baht + with medicine. I think your ex is covering many costs your not even thinking about.
  4. Ok so whats with the binder clip the uni girls wear on their belts?
  5. Old Bill must be suffering vaccine side effects. Only a month ago he was wanting to put a surcharge on hotel prices - perfect idea to entice tourists - rip them off. This guy has definitely assimilated.
  6. Ye just install Opera Browser - it has a built in VPN. Its what i use to see US sites like harborfrieght or homedepot from here.
  7. I would also note that cloning the disk (which with the AOMEI software is literally a few mouse clicks) all the drivers and licenses get copied over. Agree fresh os installs are a solution sometimes but it can also be a pain in the ass finding old drivers for accessories long since discontinued. That said in this instance i recommend something like Driver Easy.
  8. Many working class Thai's tend to live like that regardless of income. They prefer to direct their money to cars, bikes, phones, whiskey and giks. Also those cameras are extremely cheap now, few hundred baht for no name brands.
  9. I switched from a 1TB HD to a 500GB NVMe M.2 SSD last week. Used AOMEI Backupper, Clone Tool. Can clone your system or the full disk and no issue if different capacity.
  10. Cant be any worse than buying and eating from this street vendor. Took this pic at PTT on Rama 4 while filling the truck up. The Crow was picking and eating from the stall for a good 3-4 mins before the vendor shewed it away. Ive seen rats do similar at Phra Khanong market. Think id prefer the leftovers.
  11. Well that's a paradox then. This is the same company your complaining about calling you out on your sick leave ????
  12. Really? Thats super confusing. A pc is a desktop that's at home. A laptop, netbook, tablet is what you carry around.
  13. Stop playing the system and go to work. A sore throat, hangover or a wee cold is no reason for a day off. You are making yourself unemployable. What business could cope with an employee taking 30 days sick leave plus annual leave.
  14. Ye we pretty much have the same issue. Rebooting the box doesn't even work now either. True say we need to upgrade package. Not happening as we have negotiated ourselves a good deal with true over the years and upgrading with a new contract would set us back to square one at full rate.
  15. you may get the 4.3k back but the 50k the daughter got is gone for good.
  16. Are you using the ARC HDMI port? Also i noticed when i moved my Fire TV stick from one TV (which i initially set it up on) to another TV - it stopped controlling the volume. Only way i could get it to work again was to reset and set up again - on the second tv.
  17. Problem here is when they pass the Grand Palace the tuk tuk drivers will say its closed and redirect them to a suit shop.
  18. Love this advise. as opposed to you don't let them ?
  19. Wow he's wearing the classic prison uniform. I thought that was just in comics.
  20. Id go with a little bosch 4" angle grinder and flap wheel sanding discs (60 grit). Maybe get a wire brush attachment also.
  21. Yes I've had the same with lots of things. Was gifted a nice pair of original trainers a few years ago and as i didn't need them straight away they were stored for a few years. First time i put them on and went somewhere they basically fell apart. All the glues and rubbers had turned to a sticky mess. Also have a limited edition signed motorcycle helmet that i keep for display (Covered 95% of the time). All the rubber seal parts have perished and fell of in chunks or got sticky and oily. The neck lining has disintegrated like your backpack lining. Strangely the one i use everyday is fine. Always assumed its the humidity and high ambient heat as you can control the other things.
  22. You just need to cut down the sim. Get a template online and cut it yourself or go to a phone shop where they have a punch that will cut it.
  23. Ive noticed recently (last few years) that much less apps are region locked. I used to always have the problem with my maybank app from malaysia. I would always have to switch stores to get updates. Even had to just google the apk and install it directly on occasion. Now i just stay on the thai store and they all work fine.
