You should get out some more. For those of you who live in Sankampaeng and are driving home from the city in the wee hours shoud take care if you're under the influence.
What time does the new subway shut down?

Saw a white 2 door ranger today, with matt black wcrap on roof & bonnet. Wouldn't recommend it, looked awful
I see no point in that stuff. I guy in my condo had one of those 2 seater merc sportscars new red plated 7 million baht versions with that on it on the hood and various other places. Took a nice car and made it look like something Ashley Cole would drive.
Thanks guys for being kind to me when I did my wrap additions to "The White Truck"...but I still think that chrome does not look to good with the white color...Matt Black for a change looks good with anything (in moderation)
Yours looks a bit more subtle than roof & bonnet in black Wasn't having a dig at you

There's a page in the manual about programming a new remote yourself. page 27 in my downloaded English manual.
I'd be grateful if you would kindly point me in the direction of where the english version can be downloaded from, for my future reference, thanks alot
Somewhere in this 87 page thread
It's a link to a ranger owners forum.

Ahhhh Bt.4000 for a blank key fob. Be interesting to know the all in price for one with a key and coded to the vehicle. the Bt20,000 I mentioned above is the all in price to have a useable key fob.
Just got back from Ford Pattaya and here's a breakdown of the actual costs;
Blank Key Fob 3,600 Baht
Programming/coding 730 Baht
Key cutting 650 Baht (I took it to Big C South Pattaya, the nearest I knew of)
Total 4,980 Baht

Ever once in a while someone will mention red and purple public busses being available in Chiang Mai. I can't even find a Thai that know anything about these elusive busses. Generally, when a city has public transportation it is no mystery as to where they are, what their routes are, and the cost. It appears to be a complete mystery when and where any public busses travel in Chiang Mai. I have lived in Chiang Mai, for over four years, and at no time have I ever seen a buss at a buss stop.
Actually, the problem is they seem to have no-one who has sufficient communication skills to get the word out. You can get a pretty comfortable a/c bus from Worarot Market to Nong Hoi (and I think all the way to Lamphun, certainly Saraphi) and on the couple of times I have used it it was better than a songthaw by far.
Just need to expand that one line "network" to run along all the major arteries radiating from Chiang Mai, to Hang Dong, Mae Rim, Doi Saket, & San Kamphaeng. Bus every 10 minutes, running until midnight......
And out of town car parks, so people can get to the bus in their car.

Not being biased, but I still think the Chilli Orange looks the best by far
Hides the rust

I dont know, I see a bright red one regularly and if you threw a United Logo Wrap across the front of it - it might look good.
Might get keyed by passing Liverpool fans

Ta for the tips. Will report back when I find time to take her down the repair shop.

I love my chrome

A tram line is possible for the grey line shown along Chang Klan. Road's wide enough. Probably most of the lines also, if you completely ban road side parking along the routes.

Well they are off to a shaky start 4 years 2012 until 2018 My arithmetic says that is 6 years.
Certainly hope it involves lots of hands on work rather than paper work.
Most of the cash will likely disappear in puff of smoke (a large one)

P.S. I'm a Brit and my wife is an Aussie in case you were wondering...
Why are you having your child in Thailand? Wouldn't it be better in one of your home countries, Aus or UK? Wont you mess up their "full nationality"? I thought that if your child has children outside of Aus or UK their children will not have the right to your nationality? My son was born here in Thailand, but he has UK nationality. But for his kids to be British, he would have to take his wife to the UK to give birth. Please correct me if I've got this wrong.

Seriously. This man is not the full baht.
Not the full baht? I imagine his baht is overflowing

"The City will push for all restaurants, stands and shops to meet kitchen safety standards around the city by 2016."
Now that's very reassuring. I wonder where those restaurants buy their veggies with high amounts of pesticides and noodles with excess amounts of preservatives?
Probably the same markets that most other restaurants & residents buy theirs. Time for the Office of Public Health to carry out extensive studies of all veg sold in the city, & publish results.

that wildtrak says xlt
funcat said White Truck not Wildtrak
How much do you think it would cost to take the 2.2 engine out and throw in a 3.2?
Be looking at approx 200k for the bare engine.
Cheaper to just change the badges on the side

you have the new ranger or mazda right? someone spoke about issues with the air con on one of those threads previously, mostly about it being freezing cold all the time. maybe check in those topics?
It's my old truck that has the problem, not the Ranger.
Thanks for clearing this out .......
...check the compressor clutch...looks like it's not engaging from the start...do you switch off the AC before you stop the engine?...or just leave it on?
Always switch off first.

When I start my truck & aircon, no cool air, only outside temperature air blows for 5 - 10 minutes. Then it starts to blow cold air. Very cold. Any ideas what might be at fault. Would prefer to have some idea of the problem before heading to aircon repair shop.
