Here's a heads up for newbies in bars in touristy places. Bar MO 101 is that you go out with a stack of 100 baht notes in your pocket and pay for drink as you go... never run a bill as they are scammers. 100 baht bills are the most useful note here, you can pay for a drink with them and you can put one in a girl's G-string anytime you want without spending much just to have a better time in that bar... then bail and you owe nothing to anyone. This is the smart guy MO on a night out if you want to come and go as you please... never run a bill, school boy error.

The guy seems obsessed with people's mothers. "f your mama", "I pay for your mama". Is that an Arab thing?

He deserved a smack for those insults alone.

Not a bad idea Dude but after 20 beers and a few lady drinks you are gonna end up with a lot of small change in your pocket. My theory is after every 3 or four drinks check your dockets in your bin and do a quick tally and repeat it as you go.As the night goes on and you are starting to lose the ability to add it all up up just pay the bill and start again. This will also alert you to any errors in the bill for example extra lady drinks that can be sorted out early. That way you know how your money is holding out. In this case I think this idiot was just trying to cheat the bar .

Sounds like the guy was pretending to be a real big shot, at least until the bill came!
