Ladyboy Targets German Tourist in Theft Attempt Day After Prison Release

A Thai ladyboy attempted to pickpocket a German man in Pattaya, just a day after being released from prison on previous theft charges. The incident was caught on camera by a local, Sue, who shared the footage on social media to alert foreign tourists about potential dangers in the area. According to Sue, he observed the ladyboy behaving suspiciously, targeting tourists with bags on Pattaya Sai Song Road.

Sue reported that the ladyboy, wearing a blonde wig, approached the German man, attempting to pickpocket him by pretending to hug him. Sue intervened before any theft occurred, warning the man and subsequently confronting the suspect. In an effort to escape, the ladyboy boarded a baht bus, but Sue managed to stop the bus and detain her until police arrived.

Despite the intervention, the German man left the scene before police could take his statement, resulting in the ladyboy's release due to the absence of a formal complaint. Sue mentioned that police informed him of her recent release from prison and noted that her wig was likely a disguise. Sue distributed the video to media outlets to serve as a cautionary tale for others.

Looking forward, authorities have not indicated any further actions against the ladyboy due to the lack of an official complaint. Meanwhile, local residents and tourists are advised to remain vigilant. The incident highlights the ongoing risk of petty theft in tourist-populated areas of Pattaya, reported The Thaiger.

This is classic junkie behaviour. The desperation after going without a fix for a couple of days. Funny what trannies get away with here. If some dude in women's clothes back home did the same thing he'd get his head kicked in.

And where is "back home?" In Australia they let three time killer tranies out of jail to live with foster children:

Whenever I warn people that they are being pickpocketed by ladyboys, the ladyboys to come after me. Maybe they don't attack their fellow Thais for that?

The old school Aussie men I've known wouldn't let some homo in a dress grope and feel them up like happened in the video. All Western governments are screwed.

This is classic police laziness - No formal complaint made - do nothing.

This was not a civil issue. Pickpocketing is theft under the Thai Criminal Code and is a criminal offence prosecuted by the state.

Theft is a public offence, which means police have the authority to investigate once a crime and evidence are known - a formal complaint from the victim is not a legal prerequisite for an investigation.

While a victim statement is commonly taken to open a case file, presenting it as a legal requirement is incorrect.

The police refusing to act without a formal complaint is not a misunderstanding of Thai criminal law its a convenient excuse for doing nothing - laziness.

I guess this guy had absolutely no experience, no common sense, or was desperate for affection. The general of thumb is you don't let a lady boy within two meters, and if they attempt to get close you just walk away, you never, ever let a lady boy come up on you like, that that's just asking for problems.

Thailand should stop calling them ladyboys ! They are not, it’s an insult to all women.

They are male thieves dressed as women.

A bit naïve from behind a keyboard that mike... Take a walk down Walking Street in Pattaya and its difficult to fend people off sometimes - its just a matter of head down, ignore them, head down, hands in pockets on wallet and phone and continue walking through, as they try and reach out, grab your arm, hold you, stand in your way and try and stop you etc.... Its not aggressive - just annoying... in the past they've tried to grope, which means taking the hand out of the pocket to block them...

.... Get annoyed with them, they get aggressive... But - its not so easy to prevent 'them' from getting within two meters of you...

Why?

How about those who wish to "communicate" with such people?

Is it illegal if it is consensual and no payments take place?

My post applied to guys who are not into ladyboy, if you're into such a thing then of course it's permitted and it's all good. If you're not into them I would stay clear of them in Pattaya, as that place seems to attract the lowest of the low when it comes to that community.
