Masseuse Ordered to Pay €1,000 in Berlin Sexual Assault

A Thai masseuse in Germany has been ordered to pay €1,000 in compensation after a court found she sexually assaulted a male client by providing “special services” without consent. The ruling followed a complaint by a 26-year-old German software engineer, identified only as Ben. The incident took place at a massage shop on Osloer Straße in Berlin.

The 53-year-old masseuse, identified as Sukanya, was reported to police two days after the alleged assault. Ben told local news outlet B.Z. that he had booked a back massage by phone and attended the appointment alone. He said he felt reassured by a sign at the premises stating there was “no happy ending” service.

A photograph published in media reports showed a sign on the shop door reading in German, “no erotic service, medical service only.” Ben said he was taken to a massage room where Sukanya asked him to remove his trousers. Although he found the request unusual, he assumed it was to prevent his clothes from getting oil on them.

According to Ben, Sukanya initially performed the requested back massage before moving her hands to his thighs, buttocks and genitals. He said she later instructed him to lie on his back, tapped his genitals twice and pointed to her mouth while asking whether he wanted “special service.” Ben stated that he refused.

He told B.Z. that he did not have the courage to stop Sukanya or confront her at the shop. After returning home, he said he showered for almost two hours. He reported the sexual assault to police two days later.

During court proceedings, Sukanya said she believed the client wanted an erotic massage. She apologised to Ben in person, and the two sides reached an agreement. The court ordered her to pay €1,000 in compensation within six months.

Thai social media users criticised Sukanya, with some stating the case damaged the image of Thailand and Thai massage. Others said such incidents undermine Thai masseuses who provide medical massage services to clients.

Did he have a happy ending?

If he did he's merely trying to get it for free, or to be paid for it.

How about the repercussions for Sukanya? Presumably she got to Germany with a German husband.

Immigrants can generally gain German citizenship through naturalisation after five years of legal residence. Applicants must prove B1 German proficiency, financial self-sufficiency, pass a citizenship test, and commit to the German constitution. It does have a bill of rights but, unfortunately, its collaborators forgot the part about 'right to a BJ'.

If she does not have citizenship yet, she could well be deported woman. Hopefully, even in Germany, she'll find a judge with a sense of humour. He may even ask to see her in chambers to see if the vicious allegation is true!

Fortunately, the EU does not maintain a sex offender registry for human rights. Anywhere there is one, I think there will be a miniscule number of women. However, any conviction, perhaps even a fine (more than 500 baht--the good old days!) would severely limit her options. Hey, Sukanya was just making a living. And it's cold there, and expensive!

In Germany, sex is $40-$65 in the Red Light Districts. $120-150 gangbang. Thai massage costs €50 and €60 for 60 minutes, with 90-minute sessions often priced around €90–€100, IOW, there are better places to get an experienced BJ.

One OP mentioned being offered a BJ from a man in a massage joint. Not my cup of tea but I would imagine a great many of us may have gotten a BJ unknowingly by a ladyboy. There wouldn't be ladyboys of the night if they weren't a turn-on for some guys.

Back to this. If you can't stand the guilt of an anonymous BJ, just lie back and think of England, or fantasise about your best BJ ever. (Hey, every guy remembers!)

What a load of BS. Why didn’t he stop her when she first started? He let her complete the task! He should be paying her the money for being such a pussy!!!

What a joke.

What's the world coming to when men need to file sexual assault charges against a masseuse?

You would never find this idiocy happening in Thailand.

Western countries are barking mad.

Totally agree Ben 26 , a supposed man don't make me laugh. I think he is still sucking on his dummy his mummy gave him whilst the lady is sucking on his tic tac?

IF he isn't a cad, he'll be paying her fine. It's the right thing to do.

In my instance it was knowingly and yes, he did get turned on while I was thinking about what I was going to have for supper.

I've never heard anything like that before. Erotic massage parlors are not banned in Germany, so why should the police take such measures?

Erotic masseuses registered as such (and not as fully-fledged prostitutes) are not allowed to do hanky panky other than hand-jobs.

And masseuses not registered as "erotic/happy end" masseuses are not allowed to do even hand-jobs.

Sex for money is not banned in Germany but it is heavily regulated, and policed to a certain extent.

When I read that Ben did not have the courage to stop this 50 something from performing on him, I rolled my eyes and said there's something fishy about the story. It's pretty easy to just simply say hey back down, there's absolutely no interest in that.

Besides you are 30 years too old for me anyway.

I recall a few weeks ago this amazing massage parlour i had been visiting for all the years ... i always thought it was legit. Never even hinted at anything. She suddenly starts propositioning.

Her breath was so bad (i am talking conjuctivitus bad) that i made some excuse that i had too much to drink. I can't fathom how she could have forced him, mind boggles.

Conjunctivitis in your mouth? Isn't that an eye infection?

The issue at hand is that with genuine, authentic massages, the women providing these services no longer earn a decent income, particularly in Europe. The days when people would simply walk in for a real massage are long gone. Nowadays, nearly every client requests additional services, which has led to a significant negative shift in the entire Thai massage industry.

Even qualified Thai massage therapists with proper certifications have been drawn toward chasing better earnings. As a result, authentic Thai massages are often conflated with erotic services. Moreover, there are too many women working abroad now, and making a sustainable income has become an uphill battle.

It's important to remember that these women face numerous expenses while living overseas. They have to cover rent for their rooms, accept revenue-sharing agreements like 50:50 or 60:40 with business owners, as well as pay for social security, taxes, daily living costs, advertising fees, debt repayments, and even sending money back home. While Thai massage is still somewhat accepted in certain places, practitioners often operate in a legal grey area. Their work may be tolerated, but when issues arise—like in the case involving Ben—authorities tend to investigate complaints thoroughly, sometimes even using undercover operations.

Their lives are far from easy.

As for Ben, he could have simply declined politely, gotten up, get dressed, paid a reduced fee for the back massage, and left quietly, rather than blowing the situation out of proportion.

thats what i thought but I checked with AI and apparently it can cause halitosis, I'm pretty sure the member who commented about conjunctivitis meant gingivitis ( rotten gums) or even periodontitis which is the severe version and believe both do stink, I used to work with a guy who had it and he stunk the workplace out, lol bear in mind it was a construction site too

Ben would not have a snowflake's chance in hell if he came to thailand. Poor guy would never get out from under the shower.

Anyway, enough internet. Time to meet my teerak in Soi 23 so she can massage my b@11s.
