Front Face King Coins - rare?

Apologies if this subject has already been mentioned.

 

Normally thai coins with late king on them are side facing but I have noticed some coins show him 100% front facing. Any ideas on this as these front face coins seem vety uncommon and perhaps they have hidden value at some stage?

It's from 2460 Buddhist era = 1917.

A 100 years old.

Page 3 of above website under coins category  shows coins from that era starting at 2500 thb to 20k. One looks like yours but I'm using a phone and photos on site are grainy.
