Does any of you know if there is an events center in Chiang Mai that is similar to "Impact Arena" in Bangkok. I love going to the food festivals, outdoor furniture festivals, car shows, etc., that this place offers throughout the year. It would be great if there was one in Chiang Mai. Anyone know of anything similar to this in Chiang Mai?

You're in luck: the convention center on the canal road is Chiang Mai's main expo hall. Nice setting, too.

Well said indeed. The Convention Center when it has events there is a great place to spend a few hours roaming around. The place is huge and usually there are two or three events going on at the same time. Two weeks ago for example the Mid Year Auto show, a furniture show and health products show all were there. Lots and I mean lots of different food stands were operating and with dirt cheap prices. Easy to get to, ample parking it checks all the boxes for you. Highly recommended.
