BANGKOK: -- The National Start Up Committee says it is speedily drafting a legislation that will exempt capital gain tax for start-up business that is jointly invested by Thai and foreign investors.

Maybe some new gold mines,

tour group operators and fast(ish) trains ?

How about a coal fired power plant.

Not much of a track record of late.  Everyday one scratches one's head as to how to make things work here.  It is far easier in other parts of Asia.  But still there is opportunity.  You just have work a lot harder and spend a lot more time protecting yourself in Thailand than in other places.

A JV for a privately financed Chinese-Thailand dual rail train system would be ideal.

No risk to the Thai taxpayers.

Too late.

Can we check the costs again in 25 years or for a update right now see what is happening in other countries where railways are being built now like Azerbaijan
