Too Many 30 Day Stamps On My Pasport

Featured Replies

hi guys,

firstly happy new year and many of them,

this will be my second posting on the thai forum ever, so please be gentle if the answer to my issue is obvious.

went to thailand for 6months, got the necessary 2 entry visa. however fell in love with the county and the people( NOTHING NEW I HEAR YOU CRY).

2 YEARS, 2 MONTHS, 18 DAYS LATER set off back to the uk for xmas.

got home, seen how desperate this country has become, crime, cost of living etc; and now really miss thailand and want to come back asap.

however after my 2 entry visa,s with 30 day extension, all i was doing was the usual 30 day visa run for the remainder of my time there. passport is now full of entry stamps.

my question- can i apply for a non-im o here in the uk or do i really need to stay out of thailand for the specified 90 days before i can return?

my passport is nearly full and so a new one is in order. if i submitted the new one with no stamps to hull do you think i could return to thailand soon, as this country is driving me crazy and has clearly gone to the dogs.

thank you for your advise in advance.

take care.

jfk

If your Visa is granted in Hull you can return immediate.

New Passport is always better as , I assume , you plan to get a multiple entry , so you will have to do each 90days a border run.

The 90 day rule is for entry without visa (30 day stamps). You can always enter with a visa.

In your case I would get a new passport now as UK type can not have pages added.

Don't worry about the visa exemption entry stamps, I saw guys with five years worth getting tourist visas in Vientiane last week, no problem.
