Multi Entry O Visa border crossing Mukdahan

I have read a post in July about just crossing the border and turning round and coming straight back. The answers were a bit confusing. Basically can I just cross the border with my Multi Entry O visa and come back the same day?

Yes you can cross the bridge, enter Laos, turnaround and return to here.

& also it has been mentioned that you can get a 60 day extension on every 90 day period of that Visa at your local Immi if that takes your fancy

Only if you're the spouse or parent of a Thai.
