Mate, if you like playing Aussie rules and cricket, you'll have no worries here.

Try www.southerners-bangkok.com for cricket (amongst other sports and a good way to meet other expats) and www.thailandtigers.com for the Aussie rules boys (including the odd Tassie).

Have returned and I am now back online in good old Tassie. Must say an eye opener for me. Stayed at the Shangri La, tough life but was that busy did even get a chance to go in the pool. Was a two hour drive though to get to the work site, traffic unbelievable, but so patient,

Have my apartment organised, driving range next door to keep me busy. Not real sure where it is though in Samut Prakan some where. Could not see a pub in sight, or wherever you go for a drink. Got a chance to go out one night in Bangkok, don't really know where, but I know I was the only westerner in the bar / disco, and the guys taking me could not stop shouting red bull vodka shots, lost count at about 25.

Must say great food, the seafood restuarant where you take a shopping trolley and pick what you want really spun me out.

Back in March to base myself there for the next six months at this stage.

How has everyone been. Good to see the Aussie's are still kicking arse in the cricket.

TASMANIA (AP) - A seven-year-old boy was at the center of a Hobart courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.

The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.

After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the English Cricket Team, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

Yours truly,

Kan Win :D

:D Very good addition Kan Win thanks, maybe I should change my topic heading to Bag a Pom as well. Always good entertainment. Poor Freddie think it is about 0 wins from 10 outings for the man.
