Mr moondoggie I believe you are giving misleading information here. Any exchange of body fluids would have high risk of infection of HIV. So if you insert your little john in the pussy which has moist body fluid that carries HIV virus you risk getting infection, although you may have to do it several times for the successful infection to take place.

It's easier for Gay to be infected because they do a lot very rough sometimes violent movement which bruise the skin of the genitals so the risk is 100 percent higher for virus to penetrate the skin and enter the blood stream.

Thank you, do you mean Little John needs lot of baby sitting to be playing safe! :cheesy::cheesy:

I know people selling noodles on the street for whole life with an investment of 5000 baht.

Thailand is not a difficult place make some money, there is enough life, depends on what you choose.......

This is not always true. In many situations a lady cannot pay all necessary expenses from an average salary which might be only 10.000 Baht. If she have kids it is impossible to survive.

Once attended REDCROSS awareness program, they suggested even women trying to have oral sex on unknown men's di@k should try with condoms only....:shock1:

HIV cannot be transmitted to a man receiving oral sex. It has never happened.

I'm very sorry you failed the accountancy exam so badly but not entirely surprised.

Ok almost twice as many. do the math Einstein!  Almost twice as many gay men have hiv in england. As male and female heterosexuals. Try taking a reading course. And are they really all hetro. Or are some on the down low.

54 percent of hiv infected persons in england are gay. The rest infected are male and female. So your 2500 is wrong. Gay males have more then twice, The infection rate as of hetro males.

Everyone is vulnerable to this disease, as with just about every other disease on the planet.

It is not gender or sexual identity specific.

Behaviour plays a role of course, but to call it a sexual identity disease is just ridiculous.

I never use a condom. hiv is very hard for a man to get from a woman. Its a gay mans disease.

Admittedly the odds of transmission of the HIV virus are lower in unprotected vaginal sex; however, the risk is still there. If it's anal sex, the odds are the same as with gays. It's all about exchange of bodily fluids.

So the risks of syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia and other STI's are irrelevant to you. I'm curious - on another thread you have stated you would prefer a 14 yo as being easier to mould to your wishes. Without condoms in the picture, how do you propose to (1) Avoid infecting her ( 2 ) Avoid pregnancy?

This whole thread has turned in to a battle of statistics and arguments started by something called "Irony". Which I have pointed out on TV before that many people on here just do not get it....!!!

Can the Mods - get a irony tag or sticker that can be put on any post we make so that Americans and people using English as a 2nd language can get the joke please ?

Some posters on here get apoplectic when they get the wrong end of the proverbial  stick.
The bottom line ( not a pun) is that the unless you are a total deviant (straight or otherwise) who spends a lot of time with male/female hookers in any country and also injects drugs with dirty needles you have little chance of getting AIDs / HIV. But if you are as I have described - better get checked pronto........

She disclosed that most of her clients were reluctant to wear condoms.

It doesn't sound like she made much effort to persuade them to wear condoms.  Refusing to have sex without condoms would sound more convincing. She might think that things can't get any worse for her, if they don't wear condoms, but she can certainly catch a different strain of HIV to the one she already has and get a double dose of AIDS which would incapacitate and kill her quicker, leaving her children with no support at all.

The other Thai English language daily once interviewed a Thai street hooker with HIV working in the Nana area, who went one further by admitting she encouraged the customers not to wear condoms because it made them finish quicker and she enjoyed the thought that she was getting her revenge on the male gender.

Another sunflower here

https://www.poz.com/basics/hiv-basics/hiv-transmission-risks

"57 percent were men who contracted HIV through sex with other men (MSM)"

"HIV transmitted through sexual activity among heterosexuals accounted for 31 percent of new infections, with most of these cases among women infected by men"

But yea, everything is equal... man can lift 80kg, woman can lift 80kg... since dinosaurs only difference is having a hole or a stick... or not

Nonetheless, it is a disease that affects all regardless of sexual orientation.

To think otherwise is naïveté at its worst.

As to your rather random musings on lifting weights...80kg? Who can't lift that for pity's sake?

Everyone knows or should know the high risks when using the services of sex workers, that applies worldwide. Sex workers can act as intermediaries for the passing on of diseases from previous customers, from a common cold, TB, STDs, Herpes, HIV and AIDs.  These days there is no such thing as a safe bet when having sex with strangers not matter what their walks of life, but obviously sex workers are the greatest risks.

Optimistic I believe.

You do not include bisexual men?

Nevertheless that group, (gay and bisexual men)  in the last statistics I read, did account for 83% of male HIV cases, but what of the other  17%?

The risk is substantially less, but far from zero.
