Heavy rain during the past two days has caused main roads in business areas of Muang district of Satun province to have been inundated while the people have been warned against flash floods.

 

On the morning of Sept 30, rainwater flowed into Muang district, causing the town to be quickly flooded.  Many houses, which have just been repaired after being damaged by flooding last week, were again inundated.

 

Suchart Sinsaowaree, a town resident, said his house, which is opened as a restaurant and shop selling dried and plastic flowers, was flooded for two times in a week.  The wall of his house has been damaged by waves from vehicles running on a flooded road.
