Learning Thai

Dear all, I intend to take a course in learning the Thai language. I've learned French, German, Latin and Vietnamese (and, being native, English of course)

The big question is can I open a bank account in Thailand while I'm studying? I'm currently in Vietnam where I taught English for five years and have two bank accounts here, but I've heard Thai bank accounts are difficult to open for a foreigner on a non immigrant visa.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can open a bank account with a non-ed visa. It can even be done with a tourist visa.

You just need try different banks and different branches of the same bank.
