The Thai Consulate General in Los Angeles has found no Thais affected by the Vegas massacre at a music festival that killed more than 50 persons and injured about five hundreds others in Las Vegas.

The Consulate’s Facebook page reported that it has contacted local agencies and Thai American community as well as Thai media there.

There were no Thais fatally wounded or injured from the massacre, it said.

It requested those who have information or wish to check the information involving Thai nationals to submit the persons’ names in English at the Consulate’s 24-hour hotline; (323) 580-4222.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirms 59 are dead and more than 500 are injured in the Las Vegas Strip shooting. The suspect was killed by police on a high-level hotel floor at the Mandalay Bay. The shooting took place during the Route 91 Harvest Festival while country music artist Jason Aldean was performing.

No Thai country music fans in Las Vegas yesterday - good thing.

They were all inside the casino busily gambling :)

This is a huge relief for me. Will sleep better tonight.
