Tony Clifton Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Think nuclear! Now... Think building standards. Now think Suwarnabhum airport.
Obelix Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 The Atoms for peace research raector is a General Atomics design; very safe! It is good that Thailand is looking at peaceful applications of nuclear reactors, cancer treatment etc., well done Thailand!
AlexLah Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Hmmmmm..... I see the Mossad coming in to quickly halt this "threat" to the region....
axom_boy Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 In addition, the Office has granted computers to the schools as the source to study nuclear power. Just wondering how does computers help study nuclear power, what filmsy excuse to give computers to high school!! and yes thailand is trying to make nuclear scientists out of high-school students somebody said rightly in this forum...high-school economy!!
Chang_paarp Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 The project will also help create good image to the Office of Atoms for Peace. The name of the organisation sounds like some of the dodgy organisations set up by the tobacco industry to convince us that cigarettes are not really that bad. I hope they invest some money in better translators or PR folk as part of their education push.
pampal Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Might have a positive outcome such as 1. nuclear powered tuk tuk (reduced pollution) 2. nuclear powered vendor carts (faster cooking times)
Robski Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 The Atoms for peace research raector is a General Atomics design; very safe! Who's going to translate the instruction manual?
chownah Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Thais don't need no stinking manuals!! Just do it the Thai way...which everyone knows is the best way anyway!! If you screw up you just say "mai pen rai" and smile!!!
Tony Clifton Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 The dead body I saw on the road today wasn't smiling.
