Yes exactly, she should of had the insurance man there (if she had any ) so he could be forced to sign the papers for taking responsibility 

So this will turn into a sob story of I don't have enough this week or the next

Also if she makes  claim her premium will go up so better add that in

I wonder if there was some backroom arrangement made .. Maybe he had to pay her 10000 or whatever and in return she would not press more serious charges against him.. Cops took a commission ofcourse and set the symbolic 500 thb fine that kind of saves the attackers face a bit ... Wonder how much she got.. Wonder if im crazy for thinking this...

I just had to re-read this article to remind myself I wasn't dreaming. Unbelievable! Still shocks me to think of the 500bht as a price to pay for a criminal offence!
