He is quite possibly in HMP Whatton, a specialist prison for sex offenders. The majority of inmates are older men. Its a Cat C prison, which does include men due for release. The bigger concern will likely be him coming into contact with men being released, and somehow influence them. At his trial, while he plead guilty to half of the charges, e expressed no remorse, and even suggested his victims enjoyed it. The BBC have a documentary on him right now. The police used a free app, Pimeyes, to identify him in Thailand. What they did then after they identified him is not clear. Pimeyes is not officially cleared to use as a forensic tool for the police, and the Met Police are now blocked from using it. I suspect they could not use that tool in any extradition request, so I suppose the next step would have been for officers to visit "Peter Smith" in Phuket, but that would have taken years. Is it worth it at 78 ? - Implant replacement teeth
I'd err on saying no. Depends on how much money you have. It depends on how extensive the work will be and the cost. You would need a treatment plan to know the full cost. People underestimate the complexity and risks with implants. You may need sinus lifts, etc, which can get quite expensive and its a lot of time in the chair. I've had a few implants and I'm passing on getting 3 implants due to cost and need for a sinus lift. But it's back teeth and not an issue with me. If I was 20 years younger and had the funds, I'd consider it. I do have the funds, but it's a cost benefits analysis. Make sure you find someone REALLY good to do it if you indeed do it. And you may not need full implants, but a few and maybe a partial denture. It all depends....you may only need a few crowns, hard to say without the analysis.
