Crime Six Kuwaiti Nationals Arrested for Reckless Motorbike Riding in Najomtien

All six individuals were found to be Kuwaiti citizens, none of whom were able to produce valid driving licences or vehicle documentation. The arrests were made by a patrol unit from Najomtien Police Station, led by Sub-Lieutenant Thanyawisit Saengpho, along with Police Sergeants Yuranan Prasertsang, Napath Siriphaiboon, and Jirayu Tidthong. The team was conducting routine surveillance in their jurisdiction when they encountered a group of motorcyclists exhibiting reckless and hazardous driving behaviour on the inbound side of Sukhumvit Road heading towards Sattahip. Upon attempting to stop the group, several riders fled the scene, but officers were able to seize six motorbikes and detain their riders. Initial charges filed against the individuals include: • Reckless driving likely to cause danger to life or property • Driving without a valid licence All six motorbikes were impounded as part of the investigation. Najomtien Police Station has reiterated its commitment to public safety and legal enforcement, stressing that officers will act decisively against those who endanger others or breach the law. Despite the pressure, the decision marks the continuation of a seven-month pause in rate adjustments, keeping the federal funds rate between 4.25% and 4.5%. Dissent within the Fed emerged with two governors, Michelle Bowman and Christopher Waller, expressing a preference for a cut, marking the first such dissent since 1993, reported ABC News. Recent government data showed unexpectedly strong economic growth, which could reduce the urgency for rate cuts, reinforcing the Fed's patient stance.
