Plenty of countries would qualify for that title before LOS, including the USA with its huge porn industry, and if EricTh is a farang, possibly his country. The difference is that in LOS it's less hidden.

 

The entire premise of the OP is garbage. If gogo is doing less well in LOS it's nothing to do with the number of Chinese, and far more to do with LOS becoming an unwelcoming destination for farangs, which it is. I don't think they are doing a single thing to encourage farang tourists, and are doing a lot to drive them away. Sending soldiers to harass young westerners on the beach is probably well promulgated on social media by now, and will be doing nothing to "encourage" other young westerners to come to LOS.

As for saying "Samui another popular spot for sex tourism (  ), told Reuters the decline in demand had forced many venues in the island to close down" just goes to show how  this has become . Samui has become an expensive hole, which is probably why farangs are going elsewhere in increasing numbers.

You can  arrive in the Phlippines and stay 3 years (work on the sly), no need to show money, and after 1 night outside the country stay for another 3 years. They love our pensions, no matter how small.

I remarked about what I know, I cannot tell the difference between thai and malaysian,  I have no idea what Thaniya plaza is and I have never been to hat yai. I have never been to Venezuela or visited GB. And never heard of such tours. I don't look down upon prostitution, and do not deny its existance in the USA or Europe.

 

Perhaps you can educate everyone about prostitution and sexual exploitation in the west? From my own observations sexual exploitation of asians in the US has been at the hands of other asians and exagerated by the media and in Hollywood films.
