Hello...

After 3 years in LOS on a full-time basis, I'm heading back to the States. Will be coming back to Thailand, but just a couple months a year.

During my stay here, I've ammassed a decent haul of items. Most of them can stay or be given to wife's relatives but I'd like to take some with me. I'm interested to know if anyone has any experience shipping items back to the USA. I'm probably wanting to take a few artwork items (paintings, carvings) tons of books, and possibly a desktop computer (just tower, not monitor), plus some clothes and other minor items. Does anyone know anything about the cheapest way or any customs concerns I need to be aware of?

Also, I'm more interested in shipping services that deliver right to your door. I had to pick up a crate of stuff I shipped by boat once, and it was a nightmare dealing with the warehouse down in Long Beach.
