Police and FDA officials seize illegal medicines and food supplements

Consumer Protection Division (CPD) police and officials of the Food and Drugs Administration have seized 145 million baht worth of illegal medicines and food supplements from an online trader.

 

Pol Maj-Gen Charn Wimonsri, deputy commissioner of Metropolitan Police Bureau, said Tuesday (Oct 24) that CPD police and FDA officials raided the warehouse of A Commerce Company in Bang Phli district of Samut Prakan on Oct 20 after they had received complaints from many consumers who bought products from the company through online service.

 

Over 70,000 items of illegal medicines which claimed to help men’s erection as well as weight loss medicines were seized. The products come in various names such as such as Intoxic parasite drug, Hammer of Thor food supplements, Hammer of Thor gel.

I just hope they do not try and test it as if they do, no sleep for a month or two and the other half will soon get tired of it and cut off the cat or what ever you call it.

Look at the picture. I really think that the two officers there  have so much medals and emblems on them, so they just don´t need a bullet proof west no more.

Better to sell erectile dysfunction pills than kill rhinos or tigers.  Why don't the companies making these pills mount a huge advertising campaign in China and Thailand?  I'm sure various animal rights charities would assist with the cost.
