No concerns about Bang Wad Dam water level, says Phuket PWA chief

PHUKET: The head of the Phuket Provincial Water Authority, Mr Somchai Kuntananat, has today (Oct 31) confirmed that Bang Wad Dam is currently at about 65% capacity after concerns were raised by residents that the island’s main water reserve appeared to be low for the time of year.

PM, DPM assurance inmate training program will be positive

 

BANGKOK, 1st November 2017 (NNT) – The Minister of Defense has assured the public that a program to train inmates in weapons production is intended to enhance the nation’s security mechanism and will not result in military know-how being used nefariously, with the Prime Minister characterizing the campaign as rehabilitative.

9 Army conscripts, 14 teens arrested for drug abuse at Hua Hin party

Police and troops raided a poolside resort house in Hua Hin early on Wednesday and rounded up nine Army conscripts and 14 teenagers who tested positive to drugs.

No special flight for rock star’s charity run, says RTA

The Royal Thai Airforce (RTA) has insisted that they didn't arrange a special flight for a 2,191km charity run by famous rock star Artiwara “Toon” Kongmalai to raise donations for 11 large hospitals that lack proper medical equipment.

Bitcoin hits all-time high after CME Group says to launch futures

LONDON (Reuters) - Bitcoin jumped to an all-time high above $6,300 on Tuesday, after the world's largest futures market operator CME Group said it would launch a regulated trading venue for cryptocurrencies in the fourth quarter of 2017.

Clothes thieves caught on shop CCTV – Expo

The shop owner, Jianmanee Suknikom, says that the incident happened while she was not at the shop. Only one member of the staff was present at the time.

A clothes shop in Expo named ‘Perdsakad’ had clothes stolen by two women pretending to be customers. The CCTV camera at the store clearly recorded their identity.
