Immigration police asked to investigate job placement firms for suspected human-trafficking

The Immigration Police Bureau has been asked by a lawyer to investigate if a group of job placement companies had been involved in human-trafficking after about 130 job seekers they sent to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, did not get the promised jobs.

Suspect in fatal knife attack of 16-year-old student nabbed

Thailand defends plan to transfer money from idle accounts to treasury

Public warned against three risks during Loy Krathong

BAAC approves loans worth over 1.2 trillion baht to spur economy

    Floods cut rice yield in NE by 400,000-500,000 tonnes

    Over one million rai of rice farm land in the Northeast have been damaged by flooding and this will bring down rice yield for the 2017-18 main crops by 5-6 percent or between 400,000-500,000 tonnes, according to the Thai Rice Exporters.
