DNA test confirms exhumed skeleton belongs to missing maid

A DNA test on a skeleton exhumed from a home in Phetchaburi province confirms that it belongs to Jariya Kongsak, a 16-year-old girl who went missing in 2012 after being hired by Kritsana Suwanpithak as her maid.

The DNA test result was revealed on Friday (Nov 10) by Pol Lt Gen Withoon Nitiwarangkura, the surgeon general of the Police Hospital.

He said although the skeleton is confirmed to be that of the missing girl, it is still not clear what caused her death as no fractures are found on it.

How terribly sad some people can only express themselves with violence.  It will be interesting to see how justice is served onto one of the beautiful people in Thailand.  Poor little girl, just wanted a job.

In previous articles it said the poor maid was hit in the face and then on the head - presumably with some object; and died a few days later.

It sounds like having assaulted a young made the nasty piece of work left her to die without bothering to consider any treatment. And then disposed of the body to cover it all up whilst she carried on as if nothing had happened.

In any civilized country that would get a very long prison sentence.

We shall see what happens here.

If you hear nothing, you will know.  Nothing happened.

Like the alleged boiler room, red Porsche driving guy in Pattaya killed by two westerns that escaped to Cambodia.  To the best of my knowledge, no extradition requests were ever made.  Doubt they are still in Cambodia.
