Somebody out there might help me in identify this herb?

My wife read it in some thai book, supposely some thai monk translated a really old script which was found in myanmar. It also seems that the japanese have a patent on some of the ingredients.

For as far as I can translate from the thai pronouncation is is KRAOW KHRUA or in thai

what is the normal english or scientific name of this plant/herb?

Gwaw Khreu

Peuraria mirifica = กวาวเครือขาว > Gwaw Khreu Khao (White)

Butea superba = กวาวเครือแดง > Gwaw Khreu Daeng (Red)
