One head is better than two! Lopburi man gets his life back

 

 

The story of the Lopburi native known as the man with two heads has had a very happy ending.

 

Doctors and surgeons at Phra Narai Maharat Hospital successfully operated on the 71 year old to remove a giant tumor from the right side of his head.

 

The man's life had become intolerable as for four years he had been unable to sleep properly and his hearing had been steadily deteriorating, reported Manager. 

 

But after an operation on Monday the tumor - measuring 12x20x15cms and weighing 2 kilograms - was cut out and the patient was all smiles.

 

 

Leading the team of doctors was Worawat Kaewwichian who said that the patient was still recovering but would likely go home next week.

 

"The patient had an outcome that he didn't believe was possible," said the doctor. "Both he and his neighbors thought he could not survive surgery. Now he tells us it is like being born again!".

Horrible affliction to have to deal with. Glad the surgery worked out and hope his quality of life is improved substantially now.

Good on him, I'm sure things will be much easier now. Can you imagine carrying an additional 2 kg's on the side of your head? I wouldn't wish that on anyone mate.
