PHUKET: The Nigerian man suspected of breaking into 52-year-old Russian woman Elena Kharenko’s home and shooting her in a bungled burglary attempt in Rawai continues to deny charges against him even after the closure of the investigation, Lt Chanat Hongsitthichaikul of the Chalong Police confirmed today (Nov 18).

16 million Baht budget for second lifeguard auction

The OrBorJor Phuket has announced it will launch another auction to supply Phuket lifeguard services offering a budget of 16 million Baht. The date shall be confirmed within this month.

PWO promises to speed up payments of 2-billion-baht warehouse rental fees

Cross-bank bill payments are now in service

Begining today (Nov 18), cross-bank bill payments through the “PromptPay” service with low fee of just 5 baht per transaction will be allowed for commercial banks to facilitate their customers for online purchases and at ATMs.
