Bangkok Barry
Isn't riding in the back of pick-ups illegal, because people can get killed? I guess the school doesn't care, the driver doesn't care and the parents don't care. Let's take a chance, hmm?

Happyman58
Such a waste of life I would say speed and we are invinceable attitude may have something to do with it Where not laws brought in to stop riding in the back of pick-ups? After those police finish getting there haircuts would it be to much to ask them to enforce the law ? Funny or am i wrong in thinking this way ? If a law is brought is it not the police force job to make sure they are enforced ? Am i normal thinking that way?

Why would the Thai Police start to enforce laws now when they have not done this for years. It is so obvious that they are not capable of doing their jobs. Redline
And the driver went to drink beers with his buddies, the police went to drink whiskey and see their giks, while the parents make funeral arrangements and hospital visits. Meanwhile in the government offices, you just hear Meh, Duh, somebody shoud do something about that
