TKDfella
'Van crash leaves driver dead, hotel staff injured' 'Van driver Arun Sintoon, 25, and his passenger Chaichana Rompothong, 26, were stuck in the van and could not leave the vehicle without assistance.' If the van driver was dead he would need assistance, wouldn't he?! And if the picture shows the impact point then that doesn't fit 'slab by the roadside' either. My condolences to the family of the driver
observer90210
How many more innocent people need to die, before the authorities understand that there is a real problem on the hazardous Thai roads, that cannot be tackled solely with demagogic statements ? ? ? My "posting style" is simply commenting on comments or OPs which is the only reason for a forum to exist, you know, exchange of views and all that. steelepulse
Perhaps if you would have gone to the actual article, you would have seen this photo clearly showing the drivers side windscreen having a serious impact.
Paul944
The van does not look that old but had no airbags apparently. Poor driver forgot to keep his eyes and van on the road.
