Revenge! Lopburi man goes on Facebook live to set fire to debtor's house

A Lopburi man filmed himself live on Facebook setting fire to the house of a man who owed him money.

Then he claimed that he was within his rights to claim the house that was part of a deal.

In a four mouthed rant he said he would take what was rightfully his then see who would be jailed for it.

Netizens commented in droves - most said he was crazy to do that. Police would have all the evidence they need for a charge of arson.

The footage ended up on the "DR.K v.3" site and the story was reported by Manager.

Message to Lopburi man - Your slim chance of recovering the money has now disappeared.

At least you will have plenty of time to think how stupid your action was, whilst sitting on that concrete floor, next to your numerous new Thai friends.

" then see who would be jailed for it." YOU,you stupid man,

first for committing arson and letting all the World know and

then for lending money

regards worgeordie

Not exactly the smartest move he could make.

I am amazed how many really stupid people aren t happy until they have shared their idiocy on Facebook or twitter.

Have fun in the monkey house dipsh*t

Yes agree they're stupid

At least do it with out the Face book,

Stupid for lending in the first place as most Thais juggle money (living beyond their means ) & in the end it just becomes to hard ( not knowing interest rates from sharks ) so they don't pay, running of back to village home

I absolutely hate Face book as anyone can put pictures or ect of you without you knowing - I'm continually being told of pictures of me are on it (not that I knew ) I don't need the world to know my business

What a retard. Deserves to rot in prison. What if he'd killed an innocent child (or anyone else for that matter)?

----------

I used to hang out with a guy in Florida when we were in our early 20's (partying, chasing women etc). We went our separate ways & 25 or so years later he set fire to a house. The old man inside died. No idea if he meant too commit murder, but he did. Convicted of 1st degree murder.

He's currently serving LWOP (Life WITHOUT Parole).

I hope this scum-bad gets the same.

This man will not spend one minute in jail. He´s so smart so he will be recommended in the next re-shuffle. :cheesy:

Yeah, he was probably planning to use the money the other guy owed him to buy a $300,000 USD watch. :cheesy: :cheesy::cheesy:

And this is why on Star Trek they have very strict rules regarding the "Prime Directive".

It's a Thai move, how could it be smart?

I'm sure he thought that one through, as thoroughly as he could.

In a ‘four mouthed rant’- that really is something !

This dude is such a deluded moron and he thinks he's the sharp knife in the draw. These types of people are running around loose everywhere here. Ludicrous!

What an opportunity lost to

toast some marshmallows ,

Oh thats right he has marshmallows for brain matter.

I see someone that has the right traits to be in government!

He is getting the job done!

And dont forget about open forums.

Most Thais do not understand the consequence of posting on FB.....

Which gives us a lot of entertainment

I think if I were the debtor I'd claim 'I was going to repay you tomorrow...and had the money inside my house!'

I wonder if the punishment will be proportionate to the amount of smoke he produced (which, dependent on house contents, could well be far worse / toxic than second hand ciggy smoke)

What would be the legalities of this ?

Even if the man was owed either money or the house , im sure that it wouldnt be his legal property to burn until the deeds had been handed over

Numpty.

Does anyone know the amount of this debt? 300฿...500฿ ?

Very high standard of education in these parts, now you know why bar girls become bar girls to hopefully get away from trash like this

Trash its on the beaches, in the cities and in the villages, not going to mention the roads!

Does committing a stupid crime live on Facebook counts as admitting it, thus qualifying for the sentence being cut in half thing?

If , in his mind the house was his, and was "repossessing" it as part of a debt agreement.  OK.  If he really believed that and it was now his property, how does burning down his own property help him?

Charges: burning without a permit.

Fine: 500 baht

Iodine deficiency ....
