Headgame
Just completed my 5 year moto drivers license renewal in Phuket. Fairly easy process. Make sure to have the following: - Residency Certificate from Immigration (300 Baht) - Medical Certificate (100 Baht) - Passport - Copies of key passport pages - signed - Current DL Check in with Information desk at front door. Go to test area and put your paperwork at the desk with the boss lady. Wait until your name is called. Go to take the color blindness test - easy unless your color blind. Next you will take the reflex / reaction test - press "accelerator" until red light comes on and then slam on the brake pedal - easy. No depth preception test - nice. No one hour video to watch - relief. Go back to the information desk and get a number and then go to Payment Desk - 3. Wait until your number is called - present paperwork and pay 255 Baht license fee. Then go to the adjoining waiting area for pucture taking and receipt of license. Arrived at 9:30 quite busy with the early check ins. Out by 10:45 with new 5 year license. Sweet. Edited December 14, 2017 by Headgame
eisfeld
That was pretty much the same experience as I had. Seems to be working well and without any big fuss. Wish all government departments were as easy to deal with.
Rhys
I'll have to do this in April 2018, I hope the process is the same in NST...
macknife
Mine is up this month. I remember reading something about, if I wait till new year, I will get an extra year or something like that. Does anyone remember what the 'trick' was?

In my case I’ve got an extra 6 months on my 5 year license, i.e. 5 1/2 years.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
