visas for Canadian tourists

I know that Canadians don't need a visa and can stay for 30 days without a visa. However if the person travels by road to other nearby countries within that 30 days do they get another 30 days when they come back or do they only get 15 days??

They will get a 30 day visa exempt entry at a land border crossing.

The 15 day entry rule was rescinded on January 1st of this year when the rule limiting visa exempt entries to 2 per calendar year at land border crossings went into effect.
