Kuala Lumpur non b multiple

Is it possible to get a multiple non b from Kuala Lumpur? My pal has a 3 month 2 expiring on the 3rd of Jan. His company gave him all the docs for the 12 month but he cannot go to penang now according to recent posts. Can he do at kl

KL has never been an option for multiple non-B.

If starting work then a single entry non imm B can be easily converted to an extension of stay by the company, 1 year.

If the job requires travelling then a multi re-entry permit can be obtained for 3800 baht.

It is the minimum salary that is the stumbling block, that is why people went to Penang.

Except for teachers where there is no minimum salary requirement.

Europeans Americans Japanese and a couple of others is 50,000 a month.

Correct, which is why teachers never went to Penang, it was the island dive instructors and hostel workers.
