Retirement visa
Sorry for the off-topic question and not meant to detract from the original poster. But I see it written further up in the thread that when using the 800k method, the applicant must prove that the 800k comes from abroad. What I do now a year in advance before next year's application is to transfer from abroad a little more each month and I should then have plus 800k in the bank two months before the next retirement renewal. Is that accepted and then in addition show a year's bank statement or does Immigration require to see a "lumpsum" of 800k transferred from abroad? Btw, this is not my first retirement extension. Why did the Thais jump on them at the first opportunity and deliver a savage beat-down, far worse than whatever they were reported to have done? I think the answer is in the question. They clearly already wanted to give tourists a savage beating, and took the opportunity immediately that it was presented to them. Equally, there are a lot of foreigners who also salivate at the thought of other forgivers being beaten and injured by Thai people. It makes them feel superior/less inferior. -

Police checkpoint on Sukhumvit before Huay Yai flyover
I agree.... it seems like that at any check-point nationwide. There will be a check-point for DUI, so don't they bother checking for licenses and ignore helmetless riders etc Then on a different day there will be a check-point to stop helmetless riders, but ignore the drunks and the bikes and cars burning through a nearby pedestrian crossing or a red light without stopping. It seems everything revolves around 'check-points' and the Police don't actually rely on patrolling and discretion... there can be 20 helmetless riders in front of manned police box and the police will just ignore them. The BiB won't 'patrol' and pull over and deal with dangerous drivers - but they'll track down someone (foreigner) who posted a video on TikTok of themselves pulling a wheelie.... -

Trump is WINNING and doing as he promised and thats why he was elected. 80%...who cares, how about 27% favorability of democrats, the lowest in history....thats the big one the liberal haters, losers, wokesters etc should be concerned with but they are just too "tupid" to know or care. In the mean time, have a listen to the reality (80% ain't reality) of it as it unfolds 4 months, 3 weeks or so into Trump 2.0. It's glorious and all about WINNING for America.- 1
