Didn’t expect the NACC to investigated. Exposing him and the NACC double standard are just as worthy for public declining faith in the junta and the corruption agencies and galavanized growing oppositions. Help Pheu Thai boast their image of courage and consistency in condemning the junta and they are the victim of a conspiracy. They will do well in the election.

Hm. I wonder what it would take to have a general trotted out in front of a committee on national television with a matter of such public interest, and asked questions by the media... possibly... opposition-oriented lawyers or academics, in addition to civil servants? ie, transparency in the N"A"CC proceedings?

I wonder what would happen first - that, or Guatemala invading Iceland?

:cheesy::cheesy::cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:......you can't beat them they are in charge...

Totally expected result.....all over now!

So Typical and So crooked. Watches are personal and never borrowed. How these guys can think they are all pure and no evil is beyond any reason.

They belong to his friend the Chinese submarine salesman.

Just about the answer I (and probably most) expected. So if the explanation is this simple, why was it not forthcoming a month ago. I guess "time flies".

Probably some, while others belong to "mister train" who just signed a zillion dollar deal for Thailand.

Perhaps should have said he bought them at Chong Mek border the same as me, at 250bht....5a4f1cabebd05_thumbsup.gif.6cbbef043cbe5d8fe5b6303777d733d8.gif

Too much time on your hand can lead to all sorts of trouble. ??

And are therefore scandal-proof, to a depth of sixty metres, only !

lol

IF this is as far as the investigation into his possession of several expensive watches goes, then the supposed "anti-corruption" drive will be seen for what it is.....a total farce.   Hopefully, though, this is just the start of a detailed investigation but we can dream can't we?

Just shows that in Thailand if you can lie with a smile, you are good enough

to be a politician.

Geezer

Hey Cat do they sell Beer Lao at that border I cant drink this bloody Chang or Leo

Took  a long time to come up with that statement !!

Lending clothes and jewellery is common in show business for publicity purposes, but somehow I don't think the General would qualify as a brand ambassador.

Well its very simple to check whos watch it is. Those watches have owner certificates and have serials on both the watch and certificate.

So it took him 30 days to come up with the excuse that he borrowed it from a friend of a friend.  Liar

I have a feeling they'll believe him.

They have to or they will all be handed "Dont come Monday slip"

I thought  the statement  "from a friend of mine" was used exclusively by TV posters

I think this treatment may be  more apt/necessary  though in most peoples  minds

Thank you for the photo.

I was just going to have my lunch, but I don't somehow feel hungry any more.

I don't think that the Wheeltappers and Shunters Social club would book him.

Even Bernard Manning was funnier, and that is saying something.
