I’m trying to find out if I can insure my engagement ring both in my home and out and about in Thailand and wondered if anyone can recommend any contents insurance that does this please?

 

Also, can you get pet insurance to cover vets bills in Bangkok as you would in Europe please? Our European policy won’t cover our pets here.

I have house and contents with Safety Insurance - policy was originally NZI but they were taken over (AIG from memory?) and the same cover was eventually migrated over to Safety. Valuables have to be specifically insured (picture and details) and there is the option of cover away from home. Not sure if you have to have Buildings cover as well?

 

Purchased via AA Insure so you could give them (or another broker) a call for different options.

 

Don't know about pet cover but again suggest asking a broker.
